Me being half south African and half German,My mom a south African and my dad a German.... Me who was born in south Africa,Cape town and lived their for 11 years,grew up in a coloured house hold and can speak 20% Afrikaans and 100% English also 80-90% German ,and knows all south African foods and snacks including Billtong and Droeiworse. And moved to Germany age 11, in 2018. Me being thirteen and lives in Germany the capital city, Berlin and has been living here for 2 years. Barthlomew Dias was 1st european to set foot in the cape in 1487. Followed by Vasco de Gamma in 1497. Then early 1500 was Admiral Saldahna, all of whom were Portuguese. But yes a lot of what she says and pronounces are not completely accurate. I personally hate when they take Cadbury as a south african food.
