I just had my first IVF rainbow baby after years of infertility and I know exactly how you feel. Subhanallah, people were shocked to finally see me have one since they thought I was barren. Its so hard to keep hearing people ask whether Im pregnant when I was not. I watched your journey Omaya and I actually went to Fakih IVF for a consult but couldn't do IVF over there because of my work and husband's work in AZ. I just want to let you know that there are more affordable options in the US too such as New direction Fertility centers.

I'm sorry this transfer didn't work out. I have an almost 2 year old IVF son and I'm planning to transfer my remaining frozen embryo around May. I feel completely the opposite from you guys. I feel way more pressure, more anxiety and I'm so nervous. This is our last chance at another baby. If it doesn't work I wont be doing another round of IVF, as I've done 3 already and have had 5 loses. Seeing your video made me feel so nervous about my own future journey. I guess Mabrook?! I assume your back home and are now pregnant. I agree some people are not meant to have children, some don't even get married. Allah tests everyone differently. And even those who are fertile and have 5 kids are tested. So regardless of the journey we are all tested. My advice to new couples don't wait ponger then 12 months to try as you dont know your fertility status. Personally as Allah bought my husband to me in my 30s I knew time was not on our side and I don't know my fertility health so we tried 6months after marriage and Alhamdulillah worked first time. 2nd time didn't work until toddler was weaned and then fell pregnant. Now in my late 30s I hope to still have another child 3 would be fantastic and 4 would be a dream. But each child is a boessing and what Allah decrees we shall be happy with.

I don't get why you would force something that doesn't work naturally. I am genuinely curious about the whys. Is it to be more happy? Or to have what's considered to be "normal" in your cultural setting? Even if I don't know your whys, there is one answer I hope for the most. But I won't tell you. It has nothing to do with culture. Couples from all faiths desire to become parents together. For some, becoming a parent is a natural desire. Growing your family is a natural desire. It is totally okay if you don't want to become a parent too. However, if it is something you desire but face infertility issues, then it's not wrong to seek medical help to assist in achieving your dream. I have fertility issues as well. Both my children were IVF babies. It was a tough journey. Nobody chooses to do IVF because they want to. We do it because it is one of the alternative methods to conceiving a child. If we were able to conceive naturally, then IVF wouldn't be a topic. Having said that, I'm grateful that IVF is a method available to try and have a baby. It's not guaranteed. But, it gives us hope. Alhumdulilah that the couple has been blessed with a son. Inshallah Ameen, their family grows in God's time.
