I always feel like big ole snob buying so much really solid makeup. but, I do the same I think Elf is solid but never find it. I will say thank you for the tutorial because I get fomo. Honestly though one sold powder Benefit color is 17.00 great price. Pray just picked up my first 2 cream blushes the new release by Tarte duo cream and bronzer. VERY HELPFUL. just to say...while watching this my beautiful cat jumped on my Covered makeup brushes in the big plastic with the pearls.. I NEED A SITTER. I am so happy the cough has gone away. I def have some drugstore loves from ELF, WnW (tinted hydrator), NYX (liquid eyeliners, lip glosses/pencils). Maybelline does lip products & lip liners well along w/mascaras. I’m always on board w/drugstore or high end vids 💜

more drugstore videos would be awesome!!!! working bts I know that some of the high end formulations people love are actually exact formulation copies/made in the same facility as a lot of drugstore products. Packaging plays a huge part on the markup of those high end products, but to each their own. I love treating myself with a high end product so it seems more special and I don't feel as bad when I purchase drugstore products haha

I have tried Pacifica products like their skin care and cream blushes. Their products are very “clean girl,” no makeup-makeup formulas IMO. I agree! I’ve heard other people say the milky glosses don’t give much color! I’m thinking I bought them BECAUSE of the color! I have the dark brown (milk the coco) & the cool toned nude (cookies & cream) from the original line. I’ll have to pick up some new ones. That mango one looks fun for summer! I was looking they have a cool toned mauve/purple that I’m really looking at. With a brown lip liner. YESSS! ALSO… I love drugstore content! I’m sure a lot of us do! I’ve noticed when you use cream bronzers you tend to use a brush and cream blushes you tend to use a sponge so that might be why the bronzers lift off.

I’m not into a video unless there’s affordable options incorporated (that’s just my personal preference) so when an influencer makes blanket statements like “I only use high end, hardly ever use drugstore” it’s a turnoff 😒 there are too many KZbinrs who are great at always mixing it up.

Wow, even though you don't love the look, you look beautiful! Myself, I mix drugstore, high end, and indie makeup all the time, so I love it when creators do it too. One of the reasons I love your videos (besides you of course) is that you usually feature makeup that is available at more than just the brand's website, either in store or at more mass sellers. Not that I don't love indie too, but some creators just feature almost all indie and very little mainstream. I would love to see your reviews on more brands like Colourpop, Revolution, Morphe, and BH when they return.

Trust me drugstore is as good. I have bad products from drugstore ,however , I have bad high-end. I expect great when I put out the money high-end asks. I've returned alot, I mean, alot from high-end in the past 2 weeks. That being said, I have returned nothing from drugstore the past 2 weeks. I am about to go on a no buy, other then when I need something like foundation. I have several high-end foundations, I almost always reach for my drugstore foundation and eyeshadows. Im a little older and have recently changed how I like my makeup. I may do 1 eyeshadow volour, maybe 2 tops. I'm into cream and liquid

Love the milky lip gloss! It made your lips look stunning. I also love the IT Cosmetics CC Cream on you, as well. It applies so nice and evenly and gives the skin a soft glow. I have the same skin type as you and cream bronzer was such a learning curve for me. It either disappeared on my skin or looked muddy/patchy because my skin is hella oily. I know you use the Hourglass primer just on the t-zone but I find that using it all over really helps with those cream products. I use the YSL matte primer and it's made it much easier for me to work with creams. And all my foundations work very well with it.

I love drug store videos. In my op I think drug store hits are usually face and lip products. Its really hard to find drug store eye shadows. I love how you push through even if your having a hard time with the products. I feel like just doing your makeup even makes you feel better about yourself. The only brush I use for cream bronzer is the huda tantour brush. I have tried so many brushes and I don’t even like synthetic brushes but for that one step of my makeup I can onlyyyyy use that brush. Something about it is amazing. It’s super dense and soft doesn’t leave streakes. I can’t say enough good thing about it. I can do my entire contour blend in like a minute or two
