Normally, you get a plate, lay out rice on it, and top it with one of the sauces (not soups). You eat the naan with it. Try Tandoori chicken next time. Don't be afraid of the bright reddish-orange color. That's just from the spices and mostly just on the outside. I'm telling you, it's delicious! I know you're a vegetarian, but since you tried other meat dishes I thought I'd suggest it. Mango Lassis (some places also offer mango shakes) are awesome! If you're going spicy, keep something yogurt-based like that around. Mango pudding is yummy, as is their rice pudding, and they're super sweet but you might want to give golabjamun (spelling?) balls a try. They're like donut holes (but cakier) in syrup. There's also fresh fruit offered, so you can have a healthy dessert. In fact, you might start with some papadum (spelling?) and some chutneys to dip it in. My favorite is tamarind.

Let's be honest though if you're getting Indian food in America than it's highly probable they would use food color to make it that bright color. Americanized foods usually are not done fully authentic. Like alot of popular Chinese dishes at Chinese restaurants in the us really are not Chinese, their American food made to imitate Chinese foods

The black bowl was the chicken Biryani. The rest of the Currys, you'd have to just look at the meet inside to differentiate. Goat is considered dark/red meat and chicken is mostly white meat.
