We have long distance busses in the US, the cheaper version being Megabus, which is a uniquely horrible experience to endure especially if your ride is in the 10-13 hour range. It has a bathroom, which is always drenched in urine, and there's so little room that you are pressed tight against the person sitting next to you, with no leg room at all. It makes economy class in airplanes look like luxury. I wish we had sleep pod busses like this here, I'd happily pay $80 for that even without a toilet

OMG I highly recommend the yakiniku place at 1:13! The owner (at least, I think she was the owner o_o ) is so nice and the food was good! We actually went back there for our final lunch in Japan before going home. Osaka is so nice, Namba especially! I want to explore more of it next time!

It's strange, I've seen this bus line now in a few travel KZbin videos. What is the company's reasoning behind eliminating the restroom? Would one or two fewer seats somehow be less profitable? Would be a nightmare to get sick while traveling onboard this bus, for all passengers 😬

Basically, they try to stop frequently enough to make up for the lack of on-board toilet. *And* they can afford to turn off the lighting for 'sleep mode', since no one will be trying to navigate those narrow confines in the dark.

This video game me some nice memories, I took this same route this Summer when I went to Japan. My bus was cheaper so the seats weren't as comfortable as the ones in this video but it was still pretty comfy. And I was really impressed by the size and services of the Expasa Ebina service area. I know the most recommended Tokyo-Osaka travel for tourists is to take the Shinkansen, but if you're on a budget a night bus like this one is also a really nice option.

The coffee machine has it's own KZbin channel? :-) As far as the lack of a restroom on the bus...I can sort of see the design decision. Not that great at one angle, but on the other hand prevents people from getting up and navigating those tight confines while the bus is in motion.

I used one of these vending machines the other day, but I can't claim to have been very impressed with the result. 480 JPY for their premium 'large' Blue Mountain Coffee... the most expensive one they do. can you imagine how much nicer it would be to travel in the USA if we had seats like that in long haul bus plains or trains? Then agian you'd need a prybar and a bucket of lard to shove some of us Americans into a pod like that so maybe theres a reason we cant have nice things. That and those same people are the ones that complain about needing to pay for 2 seats as it is. It would be hard to find a hotel room for that price. If I could overnight to my destination in a fairly comfortable pod like that I'd be more than happy to for that cost.
