Thank you so much for this review! I am interested in trying acrylics on myself. I used to get them done years ago. Ita funny that you mentioned the smell of the KS monomer, because I thought I read somewhere else that KS had the best-smelling monomer? I am very sensitive to smells, get headaches easily. So, I need a monomer that isnt going to give me a headache. I know NCE has a low-odor one, but have heard complaints about it. Question, I only want a little longer than my natural nail (about 1/8" free edge currently). So an end result of no more than 1/2" of free edge. Do I need to use the glue on tips? Or could I just build it all with forms and acrylic powder/monomer? I love all the filing footage! Thank you very much. My old nail tech hand filed only! She was so amazing at natural-looking artificial nails!
