I also pre-ordered the Rollei 35AF same day and also have not heard anything yet. Also saw reviews that back what you are saying but Ribsy seemed to like it and he took some great pictures. I don’t expect the focusing noise or the loading will be of any consequence to me either.

@@fvlwrs I went for the black model so I can be in stealth mode 🙂 I own a Nikon 35Ti which I am really curious to see how it compares in my use. I really like that the ISO can be set manually on the Rollei. If its nice enough, I will sell the 35Ti and let that finance this Rollei 35AF.

Film has gelatin, it’s a cellulose acetate which is a bio plastic.
