I believe the Liquitex blended fiber is supposed to resemble paper fiber when dry. I use Golden Fiber paste. I love playing with the texture it creates! It add a unique texture to my paintings. The more paint mixed with it, the thinner the paste texture results will be.

The natural fibres one used on its own and tried does look like fibres, paint on top when dry, great effect. Thanks for video very good💐

Thank you, I appreciated the time and cost it took to do this video. I recently bought iridescent medium and really liked it. I haven't seen black lava, blended fibres or natural sand so I was interested to see those effects. Thank you for sharing..

I really liked the natural sand and the iridescent one. I'm kind of a poor artist, so I dont have a very wide range of mediums i know how to use. The chunkier mediums are a little intimidating haha. But I'd love to try any of them.
@AnthonyCrammen4 жыл бұрын
Ah don't be afraid to use some chunky mediums! They can add some really nice effects to paint! Well if you're on a budget you can definitely get a similar result for the Natural sand by literally adding just regular sand to your paint. I've done it before and it works really well!! 😁

No worries, words are hard!😂 🤣 Love your experiments. It helped me heaps, I won't waste money on mediums I haven't bought because I now know how they will work for me. Thanks😊 You are a natural, you, make me laugh as I learn, so there's that!😅 I ❤ emojis

Just discovered your channel while looking up Liquitex mediums. I loved this video and I noticed that you are a KZbinr just starting out. I highly recommend you do more videos reviewing and/or comparing different art supplies on KZbin and show in the thumbnail that you’re actually testing the products out. It grabbed my attention for sure because I love videos like that and your commentary is very helpful and entertaining. I hope to follow your other videos in the future!

Very good! You were right about the pronunciation of stucco! Though it is so funny when you mess things up or things go wrong and your commentary is, at times, priceless, you are too hard on yourself! Please remember that much of these things happen to everyone else, you're just brave enough to put it out for the world to see....and we laugh with you!

Thank you for another great video (written before watching, will edit as I watch😁👍👍). I was right, it was another great video.😁🧸🌻🌞 I forgot how awesome your accent is, US accents aren't nearly as fun to listen to. 🙂 I have been wanting to see a decent demo of these products for a couple years, the video on Amazon is very lacking in detail. All the mediums can be used to make custom paints by adding pigments and micas. The beads and the strings are the two mediums I'm most curious about, not sure if they are Liquitex or Golden but they look like they would be fun for 3D multimedia. The two sands and beads could make some awesome Beach scenes.

Your point in diy-ing the sand one is good. I am smack in the middle of the midwest in the usa and I'm not sure sand would be cheap for me to get. But if I bought it in bulk maybe??

Painting is starting to remind me of guitar…all this sexy, fanciful poetry that is both somehow ‘bright’ and ‘mellow’ or ‘adhesive durability’ while ‘providing delicate textures’ A ‘Glossy beach sand finish’ reminds me of ‘Shimmering tones with a subtle hint of dirt’

Finally got around to watching this, so glad I did c: I loved the natural fibers one the most, funny enough. It didn't look like fibers, but I love the texture xD As an abstract artist, this was a great video for me to begin with. That you did it makes it all the better xD thank you!
