Girl, I LOVE your videos! Lately I've been watching the ones that you use hard gel and acrylic powder/dip powder, and I'm DYING TO TRY IT OUT! BTW I L💖VE MY NUDE FROM YOUR LINE! I'm still a newbie, but I'm actually SHOCKED at how great I did! I'm a busy, busy single mom with 2 jobs, so it's kinda hard for me to carve out the hours to do my nails. I usually do my super in-depth prep and cuticle work, then the next day I'll do some quick prep and application and hand-filing, then finish off perfecting the filing then do my design and bling...at that point I will take pictures and tag you! I'm seriously so super proud of how well I did! You've obviously been an excellent teacher and inspiration 🤗 if you wouldn't mind, can you please make an updated video of you using your gel with acrylic/dip powder? I know other people have made some similar videos, but it's not the same lol!

Hey girl 👋🏻 I definitely will have to get all of those!! 🥰 I have a question for you since you work with builder gels, I was doing a fill and I made the colors she wanted and after I completed doing the cuticles making sure all dead skin was removed and nothing out was left on there I put a thin layer of the builder gel on each fingernail for 30 secs, but the nails were still wet so we did 120 secs, but that still didn’t work. What should I have done?

once you cure the gel there is going to be a sticky layer on top that you have to remove with a nail cleanser. if you don't have a cleanser you can use some alcohol

When I went to cosmetology school we didn't learn about gel (may not have been a thing yet) .... I am using you as my teacher (because I am currently practicing in my other career field) for this method and going through all your videos because I want to give gel a try. First I love your channel!!! Lissette I need your help, trust when I say no matter what I do I can not get my nails to stay on with builder gel it peels right off & yes I prime & dehydrate I have tried everything WHY? But poly gel no problem "really" very weird.

honestly Im not sure I never had that problem. it could be a number of things. it could be your lamp, could be not curing each layer fully could be not prepping the nail beds, removing all the oils, dehydrating the nails. it may not be just one thing.

always leave a layer of gel on your nails. . I never fully remove anything. I always leave a thin layer on.
