I think the "spacing inbetweens" you mentioned is called "Easing" (?) Since easing helps give more flow to the animation by having spaces between the frames depending on the easing types you use such as the "Circular In" and "Circular Out"! (Well- based on my experience on animating before) But anyways, I really like to see you animate! 🤩❤✨

I think it's called ease in ease out where when you add more frames from the beginning and the end than the middle it helps make the animation look more dynamic and realistic. Kinda like if you animated a car you would add more frames when the car is starting to move and then more when it begins to slow down

Actually, I did try animation in photoshop but I don't know what I was doing and I didn't know what "in-betweens" were so it was insanely choppy, so I would copy and paste all my frames so there be like 80 layers - 100+ layers. I have Clip studio paint and I draw better but looking online just makes me not want to do it but maybe one day I'll try
