I had a salute shel lift about two feet and go boom on the 4th. If anybody was near that bad boy they would have been feked. I was about 15 feet away and it was louder than anything ive ever heard. Also those 2 inch rockets love to go off early, sketch factor is high with them. Glad your friend didnt get hurt bro!!!

I have a few packs of the vamps and I think they are just as loud as the novas... i think the novas sound louder because they don't seem to go quite as high as the vamps ... I also have a whole case of some mortal kombat shells and they are pretty loud as well.. love the noisey fireworks 😎

One of my favorite town shows always ends with nothing but 1,000s of what I'd call a flash bang. It turns into an almost strobe effect with enough noise to beat your heart out of rhythm. Is there a consumer-grade version of this?

That '10 foot parachute' might actually be one of the neatest things I've seen in a long time! Always loved fireworks and exploring them but by far? That's the best parachute hands down I've ever seen. Though, I still wish it was a ten foot wide parachute xD You know the manufacturer would be like "No no, 10 foot parachute- We meant, 10 foot high- parachute." Lmfaqo

Those "vamps" are dangerous because of exactly what happened at 9:35. The "jungle" rockets do the same thing... I'd definitely recommend putting out a warning for those 2 products to not buy them and if you see anyone buying/bought them make sure to give them a huge warning they don't always go up. I had one do that to me....

A couple recommendations 1 a camera on a tripod and a wide angle lense for a bigger view, and maybe a few go pros for alternative angles

Cody, whilst checking the web for fireworks displays, I came across a Chinese artist who paints the sky with colored smoke. His name is Cai Guo-Qiang. His "Sky Ladder" is pretty spectacular, but there are some other beautiful, colorful displays. Thanks so much for your videos!

Of course since you live in North Dakota I believe those aerials can be an issue but since I live in Tennessee I believe having aerial fireworks including bottle rockets is perfectly fine

My dad taught me to take 2 tin food cans, one bigger than the other. Put a nail hole in the smaller can in the center of the closed end. Put a firer cracker 90% in the hole. Add 1 inch of water to the larger can. Put the smaller can inside. Light and it will fly about 30 feet depending on the firecracker.

Around 1998-99 I bought about $350.00 in rockets and mortars. I shot the rockets thru 16 feet of copper pipe, they went higher and straighter than just in a bottle. I bought several cake devices with multiple somethings, didn't know one from the rest. One in particular was a "grand finale" cube, fireworks guy said he needs to show me something. Even though it was a perfect cube that supposedly shot straight up, the box had a big red sticker on one side that read THIS SIDE AWAY FROM PEOPLE. I'm not sure if it malfunctioned or went off how it was designed, lit the fuse. Fuse burned down, one gigantic explosion blew the side and most of the top away. LOUD LOUD. UNDERLINE 3 FEET TALL LETTERS STROBING SAYING "THIS WAS LOUD" was an understatement. Ears ringing into the next day LOUD. It was worth the price of admission.

I've seen some really cool daytime colored chalk fireworks. These ones you lit really didn't excite me. The big booms don't resonate very well over speakers I'm sure they were a lot louder in person. Still a pretty cool video keep them coming 👍👍

its been hot in California too, while driving with no AC I had my phones gps shut off on me yesterday because it was overheating (samsung things) had to take it out of the case and hold it out the window while driving for 2 mins lol. also on the on the heat issue you could try and build a little 5 sided cube for it, wood or cardboard with a hole for the lens with that reflective gold tape on the outside and a little square of stick on velcro to keep the cam inside. just a random idea lol, fun video too, had no idea about those parachutes, kids would go crazy over that haha
