Interesting way to color correct. I usually use color correcting shades underneath my foundation and concealer so I don't have to use too much of either one. I suggest you try green and yellow for redness and the lilac shade for brown spots and peach for under eyes darkness, it works great for me and I am a NC20 or C3 in Mac shades which is probably close to your skin tone.

Yes u r correct ❤ u always do it underneath foundation but again there's no rules to makeup just a theory and that theory is to do all color correcting before u apply foundation/concealer

Colour correcting is based on colour theory. It's not that scary really. In school you learned that red and yellow make orange, blue and red make purple and blue and yellow make green. That means that the colour straight across from it on the "wheel" cancels it out,sort of. Blue veins? Use orange/peach. Brown spots? (Brown is a dark orange) use blue. Just shift more one way or the other until you find your sweet spot.

Nikki LaRose has great videos on color correcting. Peach seems to work best at canceling out blue in the corners of the eyes, and Huda Beauty has pretty highly rated color correcting products.

You should try the bronzy drop/shade things under makeup. I think thats what they are normally made for. If you want to try them again or for that reason.

Have you ever tried placing your blush higher up? I think it would look beautiful, you have great cheek bones and alway place your blush so low.

Color correcting should be done 1st. Then apply the base. Also those bronzing drop get applied 1st as well. Under your foundation.

Peach covers most things. I have dark circles on my UPPER lids. I use color corrector and concealer unless I’m using Kulfi. That’s covers well and I don’t need a corrector with that concealer. Love it!!

I use color corrector everyday, but just under my eyes for my dark circles. Then I top it with concealer and powder. I use a peachy color, the Becca x Smashbox one is the one I'm using right now.

Peach works for my dark undereye circles, and green for dark spots. Both used prior to foundation application works better for me.

Color correcting is based on color wheel theory. Green cancels red, yellow cancels purple, peach (orange) cancels blue, purple will cancel yellow/brown tones. I agree with others that correctors typically used before concealer/foundation. Thanks for sharing all the new products!

I generally use color corrector over primer, but under foundation, and I also conceal as needed. I always conceal under my eyes, even with the color corrector. I occasionally conceal spots.

I color correct with light peach. I do use concealer but not nearly as much. I use it before foundation. That works the best. I do have a green concealer for my redness. Again, I use it before foundation.

Robert Welsh did a good, easy to understand color correcting video. I don't do it but Theresa is Dead does. I think you color correct under foundation and concealer.

I do some colour correcting on my dark under eyes. At the mo I'm using the Pixi one which is nice. I would like to try the NYX stick one in pink next. Some days I can get away without concealer on top but most days I do use it. Emma x

I’m sure that’s not going to happen. We left lots of comments about it a couple of months ago and she never even addressed it. I really like Mandy’s videos, but she doesn’t seem to want to branch out beyond just the few products she shares in videos. I really wish she would share more about her clothes, nail colors, etc in the description box (that’s all I’m asking for). I Use a coral-pink liquid lip color, Marshmallow Cloud Pout in Marshmallow Madness or Pour Some Sugar On Me, from WetNWild as a color corrector on the inside corners of my eyes. I put some Elf Hydrating Camo concealer in Light Ivory or Fair Rose concealer in there too and tap the two colors in to blend them. Sometimes I need something a little heavier, like Flower Beauty's new Serum concealer in Vanilla or Porcelain; both have a more natural skintone product. I Like the liquid lip bc it's emollient without being goopy or greasy, and it has no sparkle or fragrance. However, it's been discontinued, so I'm trying new products now. Thanks for the video!

Try a reddish color corrector to cover that dark spot. I have a reddish color cream blush that I used to color correct under my eyes and mix it with a darker peach color corrector from the 6-pan palette from nyx. I use the darkest shade in that palette. Both work like a charm on my under eye dark spot that nothing seems to work. Give it a try then conceal

Try doing color correcting prior to putting on foundation. Also do color correcting under your eyes prior to putting on foundation & using concealer . It took me some time to get the hang of using color correcting, but can now say it really does help!

Once you find the correct shades to use, they allow you to use less foundation and concealer over them. Color correcting comes first.

When I get a rosacea flair, I color correct before foundation. The trick is finding one that’s sturdy enough to not be wiped away by the foundation.

Green concealer def cancels out redness it truly does but I've found in research it seems like every brand has a different color they say will cancel out under eye circles and discoloration.. can be a bit confusing especially since I'm a novice when it comes to makeup! I never wore makeup at all but had a little girl at 36! my first and only kiddo- I actually was told I couldnt have children so she's such a blessing!! And we're having a blast honestly lol now she's 7 and I decided I was going to learn how to apply abd wear makeup so I could teach her when she's old enough to wear! Lol quite the experience at 42 lol!! I guess I didn't have an older sister to teach me how to wear

I think the color correctors go under foundation. Green cancels red and peach cancels blue / purple. Also the drops are meant to go under foundation too with a moisturizer or sunscreen.
