I'm impressed. I clicked on this to waste a few minutes, expecting more of the same; you know the sort of thing, a pelican on a pier with long exposure water around it or such. Instead I learned a technique I've not tried and saw some stunning images that well exceed my own abilities. Thanks for making the effort Michael.

Loved that pano and the one immediately after. Be cool to see a perspective blend where you magnify the bridge so it has similar weight to the stacks.

Simple wide frame because it gets to the essence of the image similarly to your last image of the seastack. The crop you show us at 12m41s has the main subject sandwiched with a pleasing balance of the blue sky and sea and warm pastel hints of the sunset. Most soothing. Thanks for this calming video that I enjoyed on the other side of the world at 5am with a cup of peppermint tea :)

Michael, I personally like the simple wide shot better than the panorama. The simple wide shot not only has cleaner composition and elements, but the water on the left extends outside the frame and gives breadth to the ocean. At least that’s what my brain imagines when I was looking at that photo. By the way, the 3 photos that you took with relatively long exposure (1/4s) with you tracking, your first one is my favorite. It shows calmness but at the same time conveys motion due to the basting waves. Well done!

I prefer the single shot over the panorama. It is more calm and simple as you said. The rocks framing the scene in the panorama add some disquietness to it. The telephoto shots from the wabes in the beginning are really cool. Need to try that when I'm by the sea next time...
