Great but jute leaves are not originally from Egypt. It's in Nigeria too and the red stew gets it's colour from the mixture of tomatoes, pepper and onions. It can be made with palm oil or vegetable oil. Kudos. Thank you for enjoying Naija food

Hi. Thanks for visiting our local cafeteria shop. Greetings from Houston Texas. However, you have committed an unpardonable sin. You mentioned that EWEDU comes originally from EGYPT. That’s error. EWEDU is an ancient Yoruba edible soup leaf. It dated 1000s of years back. Also, Amala is NOT from cassava tubber, but, Amala is from yam-powder, -a byproduct of yam tubber. You use yam to make lots of food, e.g Yam, pounded yam, Dundu, Amala, Asaro etc. Cassava on the other hand is another tubber. From cassava comes, Lafun, Gaari, Eba. You need to know more about Yoruba foods? Get in touch with us. Thanks
