With Etho saying I should use my shield more lol right after I’m impressed at Beef and Pause using the shields effectively against creepers with no damage. He just let blazes attack him…. maybe he doesn’t know that shields work against fireballs??) As much as we criticize Beef’s performance, watching Etho never activate his shield would be pretty frustrating too lol

Honestly tho, the mapmaker did a great job! Just watching, this feels really hard but not like inhumane "spam spawners everywhere willy nilly", and the area design is interesting with some quite innovative use of newer mobs and mechanics. Plus, it's not holding your hand - for example they gave them all the rail stuff, but didn't like force them to use it in a specific way or give them 17 signs of instructions on what to do next

My literal only complaint is a slight overreliance on creeper spawners. Other than that, it feels like a real CTM map once again. Love it.

@@CorwinTheOneAndOnly Thanks a bunch both :) I'll just say with the creeper spawners, they seem to be having a harder time than most of dealing with them. There aren't that many but each one takes a while to deal with. With good shield use they're not nearly as dangerous and are actually useful for cleaning up other mobs with the explosion.

@@mowsey98 Oh I definitely don't think it's a poor use, they're all used properly. Creepers in minecraft are just colloquially the "scary slightly uncommon enemy" and in this map they are surprisingly common is all.

@@mowsey98 Personally, i think it's an awesome map. It has everything one needs to have adventure. IMO, Canada team up there, has an apparent hard time because they keep jumping in, i'd personally be more cautious and move base every once in a while, but that's my style. Which is what's great about this map, it doesn't force you to be anything, you can brute force if you have numbers or take your time. 10/10 and on my list of must plays with friends.

I enjoyed no one bothering to get a bucket of water once they died after dealing with blazes. Especially Beef when he originally spawned by water at the bottom of the ladders. Planning not to plan or deviate from that tried & true tactic is something I admire in Team Canada. 🤔 I am looking forward to this series lasting for months /gen I genuinely look forward to it everyday! @@alyssa09485 He did though? There was iron in the chest at the top of the ladder. Or he could have gone back to the village base to get iron. Beef had a sense of urgency that didn’t really exist that he needed to be there immediately to pick up his stuff. But, it’s easy for me to say and in situations like this your priorities are whatever’s in front of you and it’s difficult to take off the horse blinders and pause for a moment to think.

I’ve battled with depression for a long time and It’s gotten pretty bad over the last couple of years. Seeing this content really helps and reminds me of when I was younger and waiting every day for a new team Canada video to be posted. It means a lot. I know it might just be a fun map you’re doing with your friends, but to me and others it’s a really nice nostalgic thing that gives me that great feeling again of waiting for it everyday and getting filled with excitement.
