I wanted to love the Chanel cc cream because it’s SPF 50 and it has the skin care benefits. But my usual shade is 30 and the cc cream was just a light shiny mess on my face. I’m going to try the LaMer or NARS.

I ended up getting it in the next darker shade 40 and the color is much better but it takes a while to absorb and I don’t think powder products work well with it. I think it will be best for winter.

Try mixing the two LaMer skin tints to get a better shade. I wear light medium year round… best coverage and glow sans being too glowy in my opinion.

Grace, I love the Chantecaille tinted moisturiser and if you use their sunscreen you get enough SPF...I've been wanting to try the LaMer but maybe if you prefer Chantecaille I should just stick with that.

I have heard you say several times that you use the Chanel Water Fresh Tint over foundation later in the day-how do you do that? I have it but not really happy with it. It’s so very light and when I use it I look like I’ve been hosed down with water. It has to be covered with foundation or something and then powdered. So I am not seeing the point of it. Why have it? Thankyou for doing this video it really helps. I have recently bought a shiseido brush the same one you use, as your makeup always looks flawless I thought I would invest in one. Have not tried it yet though. I also purchased the chanel water tint yesterday as I wanted something light on my skin ( Think I might have gotten the wrong shade though haha ) I just want to ask would it be ok to put a sunscreen under the chanel tint I am very fair and need at least 30 to 50 spf , could you recommend any sunscreen products which would be suitable please ? I have la Roche Posay in 50 spf would that be to heavy ? Xx

Thanks for the round-up! I haven’t bought a tinted moisturizer in years, I used to go through tubes of Clinique City Block when I was younger. The only one I own now is a tube of Garnier tinted BB cream that I didn’t order, it came in an Amazon box for some reason, so I’m trying to use it up. I like to mix tinted moisturizer with a drop of foundation if I need more coverage. Otherwise topping with powder on a humid day is the way to go for me. I got a sample of the Chantecaille but the sample was so stingy it wasn’t enough for a full application. So I haven’t taken the plunge there yet.
