Trying On Bridgerton Outfits

Note, these aren’t actually outfits from Bridgerton, they just have that vibe. You know, tits-up-to-chin, corset-y sort of vibe. No idea how I’d actually wear any of these items in real life, suggestions welcomed.

I mean Mr. AMR does have a point: those tops look bloody sexy on you. Since I am from Austria, one of our traditions is the "Dirndl" and "Trachten"-fashion. It is so common to wear such a top with a pair of jeans 😅. No problem with that.

Pair them with anything that's light tone: light blue jeans/shorts/skirt, white pants/short/skirt, any bottom that matches the color of flower pattern in the top will go well with it. You just have to pretend you are going to picnic in country side and living that vintage countryside life to appreciate these types of clothes. Also, if low square neck or short sleeves bothers you, layer it with sheer white blouse underneath.

I'd pair those tops with a more relaxed fitting type of denim. Straight leg maybe.

Tops will go with a white a line linen skirt or any floaty skirt. A nice pair of jeans will also work

Yes keep one of the tops at least, and wear with jeans. I think it’s a great date-night look. I’m stumped on the shoes though….maybe just flats? Ballet flats.

Midi or maxi skirt, in a print preferably, with stompy boots. Possibly to do the gardening when you feel the need for a bit of fun

Hi Ruth , oh I loved the tops especially the second one, so pretty and it looked fab on you, you have to keep it, don’t overthink it you can wear it with jeans which looked great, shorts on a sunny day, goes with everything seriously, the neckline is so flattering and feminine…🤪xxx

The tops looks great on you! Black or blue skinny or straight leg jeans would look good with it. I also think a pair of high waisted short shorts would work as well. But denim for sure to give the girly/ruffly vibe a bit more edge.

Quite frankly I think Mr AMR’s response to the top is a result 😂 Definitely gives the zoom to bosom!! Maybe save for the bedroom or for harvesting melons 🍈🍈 😬😬 In all seriousness I’d pair the tops with a floaty tiered skirt à la cabbages and roses and maybe a loose, fine linen cardi.

I liked the dress. The tops, however, are not my favourite. They will probably go well with a full skirt. I like Reformation and we're close in age. And it looks like to me, that these tops are more for girls in their 20s.

Hello Ruth! I love that second top on you and I can see why your husband would think it is sexy! I would wear that on date night with a very short hip jacket and a few delicate necklaces. It did look a tad bit small on even your tiny frame, but I think that is the point! As far as the dress....it's lovely on you! I would try it with a vintage white belt or vintage tan and have the dress taken up a few inches. You would look AMAZING in the dress! Add a bag and just the right big spring hat and nobody could take their eyes off of you!!! xxooo Sues

Thing is with those types of tops, don't get me wrong they are lovely but they are kind of attention seeking. As in every guy would just look at your breasts 😂😂 (don't know in this day because guys just don't get bugger off!). The dress is a definite no. It doesn't flatter your figure, kind of drowns you. Bridgerton Season Two is sooooo good and so bloody romantic. They way he uses touch instead of sex ah love it! Better than season one.
