My advice on the gift is every bride needs something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue to wear on their wedding day... You can pick something from any of those 4 categories and gift her.. i find that focusing my efforts on the small things that no one would remember makes everything more magical... I got married in 2022 and trust me one of my key advice to give is that of having a book, that you write down all the things needed, you will approach this by having an heading for each of the items and their cost or estimated cost for eg.1. Things needed groom(to make this easy think of him from head to toe and so that u don’t overlook anything) 2. Things needed by the bride (do same as groom, for eg hair clips, makeup, nails etc), 3. Decorations - under this heading you have for eg flowers, carpet, welcome sign etc 4. Camera man - here I’d simply write out the overall cost required 5. Reception : here I also make a note of costs and since I did deposits and keep recording the new total (so it’s best to use a pencil to do all this cuz things will change, prices can change) NB. another strategy that worked for me is that I started buying the small stuff as soon as I was able to don’t underestimate the simple stuff and when I say simple stuff I’ll tell u what I mean - socks, watch, bracelet , crown, gaiter, shoes, marina, flowers, sand) what I find is that as time winded down despite being anxious, we had basically acquired everything and could focus on the bigger things like rehearsal, make up, hairstyles, finalized guest list etc. Don’t get worried if the planning just seem unending, it comes with the process, but the memories will be worth it!!
