Trying on my TWSBI ECO EXTRA FINE NIB

Just got my first twsbi eco after having a lamy safari for awhile. The twsbi nib flows so much more! I’m actually struggling with how well the nib flows and having to readjust/practice my writing style to better fit my hobonichi grid.

I know that ink. It's Diamine Marine. The TWSBI Eco is the smoothest writing fine nib pen. Thank you.

Actually the ink is Private Reserve Ink : Blue Suede.

Looks like a broad stroke for an extra fine nib. But I love the combo. I just received violet and turquoise private reserve ECO inks. Can’t wait to try them. Thank you for sharing.

Hi ! I am looking forward to buy a Twsbi eco EF. I’d like to know if it works well when you use it with the nib upside down. Are the lines then much thinner ? (More like a Japanese ef nib ?). Thanks for your help 😊

I’ve just tried to write upside down for you. I would say that the ink flew less juicy than normal position, so the line looked thinner but still bigger than Japanese EF nib.

my pens nib is also extra fine, but skips on certain angles while writing🥲 any tips on how to fix this?

I’m not sure about your problem but when I have skipping problem, it mostly from the inks, especially waterproof inks.

What it the actual line thickness? 0.5-0.6 mm?

I’m not sure. They produce various sizes depending on inks and pen angles.

I agree and I wonder too. Many TWSBI users said that their fine nibs and extra fine nibs aren’t different.
