Hi friends! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE TODAY’S VIDEO!! This is episode 1 of my new wedding planning vlog series! I am going to be bringing you guys along with me and documenting the entire process of planning Chris and I’s wedding ranging from all the DIY projects, party planning, venue searching and so much more. I’ll be sharing wedding planning vlogs every few weeks on Fridays at 6pm EST. In today’s video, I’m trying on wedding dresses for the very first time! And oh my gosh, what a surreal experience! I’d love to hear which one was your favorite! My personal favorite is the first one. :) I know this is a bit different from my usual studio vlog but so many of you have asked if I could document the wedding planning process and I thought that was such a fun idea, so I hope you enjoy it!

Im watching this late, so I know your probably done by now dress shopping. But, from one introvert to another, I do recommend going to a smaller bridal boutique where you are the only bride or only one of 2. I went to a smaller one and I had the boutique to myself at my appointment. And, I only brought my mom and sister, so it was as stress free as possible. You looked beautiful in all the dresses! My mom got married in 75 and had the long sleeve all lace top. She was way smaller than me when she got married, so I couldn’t try it on. That’s such a special thing to share with your mom. ❤

Watching this made me remember just how exciting it was planning my wedding. That was so special that you got to try on your moms dress. I have to say I did kinda of like it on you and a good dress maker could update it to me more modern but I really think every bride really should have her very own gown ,something that is all you and your style. All three dresses were lovely but I don't think you found "the one" I know it sounds hokey but when you find it you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt . I totally agree with you on the sparkle factor, you are such a bright ,bubbly person you need lots of bling

face it, your moms dress is the beeeeeessssssttt, if you like, just add some sparkles and adjustments on it. 2ndly, the second dress looks beautiful and it fits your body better than the other 2 dress from azazie, every wedding dress need adjustments anyway. the first dress, i know you like but for me the material is just too thin so it didn't fall well on your body, but its a nice dress but not you. just saying 💗

Omg I love you and your mom, her dress fit you like a glove!! I GASPED when you walked out in the off the shoulder one. That neckline was so stunning and you can pull it off no problem! But I would feel the same way, just worried about adjusting it the whole time.

The first one is stunning! The second one the straps and waist need lifted by about an inch, the third one is gorgeous and could have safety straps added to it. OMG. lose the poofy bits on your mum's dress you know it could be the one and lose the bow at the back. But you can Totally have pink on the day- buy a pink dress too, why the hell not, you're only marrying once, wear the wedding dress for the ceremony and and the first dance, then CHANGE into the pink wedding dress. I sew, so I can see your mum's dress -as its the basic right shape you want- altered for your simplicity preferences. And I am Mad your Mum didn't put her wedding dress on for us to see :) :)

I got engaged in 2016 and married in 2019. Being engaged is a lovely feeling and planning the wedding day was fun! Of course there were some stressors, but my biggest piece of advice would be "don't sweat the small stuff". Your day will be magical no matter what ^_^ You look beautiful in all of the dresses!
