Open fort is just the new lose streak strategie since we cant play normally anymore to have the 50 gold stage 7, this strat is more stable but less rewarding than the lose streak last patch. i mean we cant have multiple hatch with 50 gold stage 7 anymore unless you hit baby 5 with extreme luck. Nice content btw !

yep pretty much what i was thinking (its more fun to click bait by calling it open fort tho xD) Still doesnt feel as good as old losestreak strats, but i think some old losestreak strats mightve been a bit broken. This feels good, but still very balanced. and its very ez for me lose a t2 PvE still. Havent got those formulas worked out perfectly yet

Im glad there is going to be an influx of your content, congrats on finding a system that works for you! Also any chance you can breakdown this technique more? Is it simply go econ heavy then run the synergy that matches your hatch?

so the basics of open fort is: always meet your interest cap and keep losestreak. This is usually done by buying 0 units The babies are just a nice spot where u can flex them in, to get a powerful unit for lategame. Since their odds are based on losestreak, its free (unless someone else in the lobby is running losestreak as well). this was just a test/gameplay, if i end up liking this strats a lot; expect a guide in the future.

Thx have been messing around with this strat. Sometimes mixed it up due to early baby and trying to pivot properly at 10, which is my biggest problem i think

yep definitely takes awhile to get used to/practice. luckily i was already very familiar/comfortable with losestreak openings, this is just a more extreme version of what i already did normally

If you mean an open fort guide, thats coming soon. But if you mean a more general guide for the game, there are a few on youtube that are pretty good (Zwiggo has a good introductory video). Theres also a very in depth wiki with some extra video guides for getting started that will help a lot!

When you say we are going to try open fort, can we try to explain wtf open fort is or why you thought it was a good reason to do it, or what lead you to believe it was it was a "insane" lobby to try this out

open fort is basically keeping your board open/clear of units. sell everything to hit gold interest and ensure perfect losestreak. i just wanted to test it out because i heard some talks of it lately from players i respect. i thought it would be a good lobby to test it because it wasnt a particularly strong lobby. There werent any major stand out elos/names that I saw, so i was willing to be a bit riskier than usual and try new stuff

How do you have so many shiny portraits? Is it purely from playing a lot?

yep playing a long time. Winning tournaments and ranked games helps as well!

is there a reason you put every ultra on your bench even if you dont plan to use it?

He's diluting the shop to try and get what he wants. Essentially, there's a pool of mons Say: 5 abomasnow, 5 lopunmy, 5 blissy, etc. When the game decides what to show you, it first rolls for what rarity you'll get, then it rolls for what mon it will be of that rarity. Because there's not as many ultras as other teirs, buying the ones you don't want make it slightly more likely the next ultra in the shop will be the one you want. At least, that's my understanding. I *could* be wrong, so take this with a grain or salt.

@@firstnamenulllastnamenull1174 nah you got it right. That's exactly the reason. It is also even more beneficial to do in this game compared to tft for example, because there are just way more units in general, making it generally harder to hit specific units. So any way of increasing your odds is usually worth it, just be mindful not to sacrifice your econ to do it.

Seems they answered you before I got the chance xD. They are 100% correct. I do this for almost every rarity tier, but really epic and ultra are the important ones to do this for. Also many high level players dont do this at all; so if its too much apm for now, dont sweat it! Its just a small edge to help, but not gamebreaking.
