instead of screwing with the tongue jack to get it to fit the trailer for height... leave it "tongue high" and tilt the dolly under the tongue. pull back, allowing the dolly's three wheels to take the weight. If the tongue is jacked up high enough and the dolly ball height is adjusted in a high position, the front wheels of the trailer will raised enough to avoid resistance when turning the trailer.

Great demo, might not be the best for everyone but it serves a purpose. Have you considered wheel dollies to move the trailer easier in tight spaces? Can also use for cars too.

Raise the trailer up enough for the front pair of tires to clear the floor and the trailer will move much easier.

Mate, you need to tilt the lifter in place so as to lift the front axle high enough to get the front wheels just off the ground.

I use the same dolly to move my 3500lb RV trailer. Works great on a concrete floor.

Not to be a critic, but there was so much you were doing wrong with this thing. Adjust the arm on the dolly so that it is tall enough to get the front axle of your trailer off the ground. In order to get the trailer on the ball, Position the whole dolly forward so that the swivel caster is off the ground and the handle is forward towards the trailer, putting the ball low enough to get under your tongue. Then rotate it backwards like a lever lifting the tongue of the trailer off the ground and placing the swivel caster of the dolly back on the ground. It will take a little bit of force, But once it is positioned correctly you will be able to very easily move the trailer without the two axles fighting against each other. There is a reason why the dolly can be adjusted to have the ball very high in the air. The trailer up and get that front axle off the ground. This should also get the tongue of the trailer high enough that your trailer jack can easily clear the dolly axle allowing you to turn it more than 90°

Travis, @ 10:38 you show that your trailer is too low because your truck is lowered. You need to flip the ball on your receiver so it lifts the tongue of your trailer. I know you probably do not tow with your crew cab but it only costs a few bucks to buy another receiver to have the ball on the opposite side, allowing you to use your crew cab to tow your trailer. You also have to just bite the bullet and pay to get the door fixed... that is too much work that you're spending too much effort and risking getting hurt.
