Trying Out Ego's New 2022 CS1611 56-volt 16-in Brushless Cordless Electric Chainsaw 2.5 Ah

I have most of the EGO power tools: 52” Zero Turn, 24” two stage snowblower, Nexus 3000 inverter, Nexus 400 inverter, 20” push mower, backpack leaf blower, multi-tool head with power snow shovel/brush cutter/edger/branch trimmer 8” chainsaw, the carbon fiber weed wacker (separate from the multi tool) with power load and line IQ. I ordered the 18” chainsaw which should be here tomorrow. I feel like I’m missing one of my EGO products 🤔 I definitely have the EGO battery infrastructure now to run most of the tools almost non-stop except for the 52” Zero Turn and the 24” two stage snowblower. Those two can run for about 2.5 hours each on the six 12 amp hour batteries that came with the Zero Turn alone which is definitely enough time to get the job done.

I bought one today. My first chainsaw. Mine had a grease stain out of the box also. Works great! I'm too old to keep cutting small trees with hand saws

I believe the specs you showed are for the old 16 inch version. The chain speed on your new version is 20 m/s and i think 10,000 - 11,000 rpms.
