Love how they stayed so loyal to the lore. Notice how the stairs to the girls side of the dorms changed into a slide? It only does that for boys. Girls can enter the boys dorms but boys can't do the same for the girls.

I thought that Harry hade offered to pay for things but the Weasley parents wouldent take it. They dident show any of it in the movies so maybe this was only told in the books. Harry did help the twins to start there joke shop with the price money from the Goblet of fire.

I beat the main quest, but am now trying to 100% it. Really enjoyed my time playing it. Too many nights staying up til 2 AM. Been a long while since a game made me do that XD Only thing is I would recommend taking the online Wizarding world quiz for the house sorting.

Little hint, the chests are randomized, loot rewards scale with level and do now respawn, hence you might want to not open chest until you rise a bit in levels, otherwise you'll get crap loot...

Once you are a certain level though it’s only purple and mostly orange gear that will help you. Even if the blues and greens are multiple levels above your current level

I'm not the biggest potterverse fan and you really don't have to be. This game is Game of the year. The love and care to every detail that went into this makes the few glitches and plot holes and annoyances acceptable and not noticeable at times even. Just Bravo.

I get they were trying to be inclusive but it's set in the late 1890s. I don't think different racial groups got along back then and it was seen as not normal when they paired them together.

It is also the height of the British Empire which spanned the world. Not outside the realm of possibility that Hogwarts would lean on that to get the best professors from around the world for their school. Also in the "Wizarding World" the main avenue for those who love to hate is hate directed at those without magic or longstanding magical bloodlines and not skin color.

the game has to get started first before they throw hours of combat at you, and you have to play the game if you want to see more combat

@@louie-xk4yq That is pretty much my plan. I'm interested enough to play, but no where near at full price. I'm not that into Harry Potter so the theme park ride aspects of the game mean nothing to me. Only the gameplay matters, and while it looks like it could be fun, it also looks like the combat is separated with far more of walking around and looking at stuff than I want to deal with. The price needs to be low enough that if I start to get bored, I can stop playing and not feel guilty about how much I spent.
