There's a fairly simple DIY for swimming in place. Mount a flexible rod vertically at one end of the pool with line attached from it to a belt around your waist. (A fishing pole is ideal) That way you can swim full on without worrying about hitting the end of the pool. Some people spend thousands of dollars on swim-in-place jetted pumps, but this simple setup basically does the same exact thing.

No jet's in the pool. Every time I would use it we would pump out old water and pump in hot water from the house. Water stayed very clean!

that's AWSOME!!! have you thought of using a RV water heater with propane power? look up stock tank pools for filtering systems I think it will make it super easy to keep clean.

We have a filter hooked up now, and we heat the pool 45mins before I swim in it from the hot water tank in the house :) works great!

We heat the pool from the hot water tank in our house, and then we occasionally pump in water from our hot tub... and that seems to do the job :)

We just bought a filter for it last week! When we heat it, we pump out water and then pump in water from the hot water tank in our house.... so the water gets circulated prety often :) And we use chlorine to keep it as clean as we can

Wanting to make one myself, but wasnt sure what to use as a liner. Looked into "pool liners", but took pricey. Curious how thick your tarp and poly was and also the tape you used? Is it special to keep it all sealed and waterproof? Thanks for the help 🥰

Hey there! We used 6mL Polly, and the tape we used is tuck tape, and the tarp is a regular tarp that we just cut to fit to size. It does leak a bit - there are big bubbles in between the poly and tarp.... but it’s holding up so well and it’s been 2 months! Hope that helps, I’ll be doing a video on this soon!
