They move through the game pretty fast. I was exploring every nook and cranny. I got to the castle like 13 hours into the game but RE4 original was like one of my all time favorite games

I know they review a lot of games, but they learned that Resident Evil Village had treasures on the ceiling and I think they forgot that for this game. When playing Resident Evil games ALWAYS LOOK UP!

its a treasure map for dlc only. it basically unlocks what the base game doesnt have and is very useful for when your guns need upgrades. whereas the base game treasure maps you buy ingame just reveal the the non dlc treasures in each areas. if you tried looking for any dlc treasures they wont appear ingame unless its paid for. sometimes the dlc treasures give awesome items that can be really usefull for your gaming experience. i know as i have completed the game through one playthrough and currently on my second playthrough and i did pay for the digital deluxe edition. the exclusive weapon tickets that are now currently on steam are optional to get the exclusive weapon upgrade in the campaign straight up instead of grinding and slowly upgrading to unlock the exclusive upgrades after the base upgrades are all done first. but not paying for the weapon tickets while having the treasure dlc is much better because it gives you a nicer playthrough experience without paying to unlock everything straight away.

Ashley's ai isn't even bad if you consider theres not many games that have you protect someone the entire game kinda hard to get Ashley to do exactly what you want. Cause she gets scared and freezes up 😅 atleast you guys are getting better over time at the game. Btw don't try to train the shield guys just shoot once with a shotgun and kick they are slow and don't follow you like the normal guys do. Just easier to get rid of them first.

she wasn't that bad except for those rooms where they flood you like hell and she constantly gets caught in between them and getting carried off.

In my opinion on my 1st playthrough the Punisher served me more than the Red9 for most of the first-half along with the SR M1903.. Just shoot them in the leg or head and kick'm or suplex'm. Snipers were always good on bosses until you get the Broken Butterfly. TMP was good for shredding multiple close enemies. Knife was extremely useful. On my 2nd-5th playthrough and with all upgrades, game is easily cheese'd. It's a good remake and they kept it familiarly the same but wish there was a lot more "newer" things to see and do. Capcom played it extra safe trying not to tear the fanbase apart. I hope they combine the original Resident Evil and Zero into one complete game if they ever remake'm. Would love playing multiple characters and would love playing as Chris, Jill, Rebecca and hopefully Barry. I wasn't always into the whole action-oriented style of RE4 but it grew on me. And I preferred the boring slower pace puzzles and mystery style and I hope Capcom makes more of it. Overall the game is a 9/10 for me.

They cut out a lot of levels from OG RE4 making the remake short, I was wondering why the Remake felt so short and now I know why.
