Nice to see the kamado 👍 if you want to use it for just ambient, stick it in a potato. There cheap and it protects the meat side of probe.

Yeah, it works surprisingly well! I’ll have to do some more cooks with it to see how the ambient readout works out.

Owned one, kept disconnecting - replaced - month later same problem… stick with wired, these are a waste of $.

Mine has been ok so far but it does run firmware updates a lot.
