Trying out the new flaps on the Phoenix 1600 S!

if you have the right radio it can do ailerons and flaps in one.........I can do that for my DLGs

where did you get the yellow decals? thanks

They are acrilyc paint, just made a tape mask over the original red decals and painted over, then aplied some good quality transparent packaging overtape to protect, works nice ;)

Nice, just got this model. I'll try to see how 2S works. I hate when a model is underpowered, though. I'll see. I have two 2s 2200mah and two 3s 2200mah. So I don't really care about the battery. I could even use my two 3s 1300mah. I guess that would fit best. Not sure I wanna upgrade the motor, it's always a bit of risk a meddling with the model.

I am totally confused:- I have bought the Phoenix 742-7 and see there are items that the kit does not include however I cannot find what items are missing or a list of items recommended . I would appreciate somebody telling me the full details of these items so that I can receive them for when the aeroplane arrive; It is impossible to contact anybody to find out.

BTW, I see you don't have the stock spinner? I guess you also got a better set of props? Apparently the stock props are pretty bad...

The spinner is stock, only painted white :) the prop is now an aero naut carbon 10x5, the motor is upgraded for 3S but it a bit too weal for this propeller, should be better with a 9x6. Please don't use a 3S pack with the stock motor, you will burn it. Cheers
