Trying Polish Street Food in Poznań! 🇵🇱

If travel was normal right now, we most likely would have left Krakow to venture to another country. Thankfully we didn't because we would have missed out on Poznań! We tried various Polish food whilst wandering the Old Town, if you get the chance, come here! Keep in mind it is a few hours away from Warsaw and Krakow by train which is where most tourists spend their time!

Zapiekanka had been invented in commie times as an substitute to the western fast food. Initially it was just bread with some toppings, mostly cheese and tomato (meat was sparse). End of communism and competition between zapiekanka sellers did the rest.
