Some tips from a veteran (maybe several hundred hours into the mod) - you can drink water straight from a water source by holding crouch + right clicking, if you ever lose your bottle. You MAY get the parasites debuff though. - VERY HELPFUL: go to mod config menu in settings, find the first aid mod and change the overlay/display config to show the health of your body parts as *hearts* - get wood planks by right clicking on placed wood with an axe, and you can get sticks by right clicking planks too - healing sources: nymphs and bandages, crafted with 2 string and 1 wool. 1 wool can be crafted to 4 string and vice versa btw - every village has a waystone, which you can activate for fast travel between villages - this game has seasons, which affects temperature AND crops (wheat etc. do not grow during winter, leaves are more likely to drop saplings in autumn). basic way of handling overheating is to stand in water, and freezing by standing near a furnace/campfire/lava (lava being the most reliable and portable) - FARMING is a HUGE way to get tons of exp early-game, with low risks. Scrounge up some exp to unlock farming skills, and then put the villagers' MASSIVE farms to good use. Early game is meant to be a *hard, hard* grind so dont worry about dying. What matters more is upgrading your skills, and maxxing out your skill levels is where the game really starts. Good luck, looking forward to the next episode!!

Great video man! First time seeing any of your videos. 😮 The rat you killed at the end steals drops off the ground and your torches, good to kill them. Also certain cooked mob meat gives good effects. The unlight torches can be lit with matchboxes. Also the best gear you should go for right now is dungeon loot, enchants carry you in rlcraft.

if you still don't know how to start out without finding things first I will tell you, first you find gravel and mine it to get flint, then with the flint you break it on a rock to get flint shards, and with the flint shards you make a flint knife which allows you to farm grass for plant fibers, and with the plant fibers you can make string, which allows you to make a flint axe, in which case you can finally cut trees.

I know I keep commenting but I have more tips I notice you spam clicking whenever you fight, you will do no damage that way, you cant spam click anymore instead you must wait a second in between swings until the bar at the center of the screen fills up, only then will you do full damage. You can craft lit torches without glow stone, using a matchbox (make it with paper and wood) Also there are many variations of weapons and equipment you can make so i encourage you to look up crafting recipe's for anything you find using the interface on the right side of the inventory. (there are many useful things you can craft that are not in vanilla MC)

Bry, a tip: when you swing your weapon, you need to delay your next swing by the indication of the little bar under your reticle. Otherwise you're dealing worse damage and wasting durability on your weapon. Basically wait till the little bar fills up before swinging again. Also, I'm not sure if it's different for RL or not, but if you jump in the air and swing while falling, before you hit the ground you'll do critical damage.

Brysen when you're attacking something don't spam click because it does way less damage. Whenever you swing, under your cross hair there's a little bar that recharges. You want to wait for that bar to recharge at least 80% before you attack again to do more damage. Also if you jump and you attack while you're falling your damage gets increased because you'll do a critical hit
