I totally goofed y’all 🤦♂️. Credit to Ronnie Bautista @cuffed_jorts for creating the “glitch”, and Dan Leifeld for the step down switch up. Sorry for the mistake!

I love all the creativity in todays trendy tricks. I love the "ugly" tricks specifically cause they're so unique. If we keep debating what makes us "look cool", blading will stay exactly where it was. I'm glad more people are adopting these awesome tricks. It's only good for the health of the sport to appreciate all that is possible within it. Great video dude 🤟

I totally agree with you on that.

The step downs are my favourite of the new era. They remind me of budget switchups

Finally someone who understands toe/heel presses and why it's not just a double toe/heel manual. Keep those feet together! 🔥 Also that swivel outspin miz rewind to fakie was buttery
@ericvandenhengel3398 Жыл бұрын
Is there a proper x-grind stance? Topside foot in back? Does is matter? Willian from Pittsburgh is the x-grind master.
@richskater Жыл бұрын
Very commonly debated. Topside in the front is generally considered the "cooler" way by most - in the words of Tom Moyse "Put that topside out front for everyone to see". Most see them as similar enough; outside of a high stakes cash game of BLADE it doesn't usually matter. A few refer to the topside in back version as "box car" to differentiate the two.

The Tony Hawk trick meter lol… I like that reference. Great vid. It will help my crew a lot to work on style more

These damn kids are getting crazier every year. Back in my days, you used to approach a ledge or rail and when you jump, you froze in the position in which you were going to grind and committed to it. None of this switchy glitchy slide shit. Lol. I love your videos man they’re all hammers.
@coreyenglish8706 Жыл бұрын
😂 baggy pants and jump on slide down is the only way to aggressive skate!
@art0nblades Жыл бұрын
Great video! You have always a great take on whats goind on! I've been enjoying all the swively/wizardy stuff before or after grinds. One I haven'tseen often is a sweeping powerslide to mizou. Like that or just the shuffle after a grind to forward or grind to fakie to gazelle to grind again on a long obstacle. Not that I'm good in any way but enjoying those.

As a skateboarder that picked up blades for the first time in a very long time a year ish ago. I will say that the creative shit that’s happening now is what got me to want to buy blades. hammers are kind of lame, and hammers are eventually going to die out I feel like, just because everything’s gonna be done but when it comes to creative skating that’s where it’s at

The step down's have always been a Harry Abel trick to me. He was doing them years and years ago in some Dirtbox edits. Regardless, you'd probably find all of these in early Mushroom Blading videos as well.. What I really wanted to take off was Robbie Pitt's knee slides, that SK8HARD3000 edit was wild!
