Love your videos, I’m moving out of my apartment this year and also renovating a minivan into a mobile home to see explore the country and blog. I find a lot of comfort in your videos and it’s super helpful to see the reality of day-to-day minivan life. Keep up the good work, and stay safe!

Great Vlog Julia. The bad weather was kind enough to hold off whilst you were sightseeing/getting lost in Charlotte. I suspect the rainy mountain road would have been scarier is driving down it surrounded by trucks. I hope the weather improves for you hike in the mountains and take care ss always.

I really did get lucky with the warm, sunny days! In my next video, you'll see how the weather turned out in the mountains ;)

I’d suggest filming most of what you do on days you wanna do a vlog or if you are planning a vlog day, just turn on the camera 🎥 for the next whole day. Take it everywhere with ya and then splice up the footage later with good and bad parts! :)

I appreciate this style of vlog. I'm going to be heading out on the road and don't really plan on doing the touristy stuff. So seeing the driving around and daily life and regular sights are great!!

It's nutts as someone from Charlotte North carolina, is crazy to see you go places and knowing exactly where you are. Especially because a lot of the places that you were driving by and went to were places that I go to almost weekly.😅

Hi, guessing you're heading towards Asheville, where I live. Let me know if you want to know some good spots - I began my car, SUV, and now minivan life here. Take care.

I missed Asheville and seriously regret it, I heard it's great! I need to head over there someday, maybe when it's warmer out.

Hit State Line Produce on Hwy 52 N close to Mt. Airy. There's actually 2 big produce stands within about a mile of each other. If you can fit it in your budget, a trip to Vanderbilt Estate in Ashville is awesome when the have their X-mas lights up(now). Boone and Blowing Rock are a lot of fun too.

Have you thought about putting a flexible solar panel on top of your van?
@julia_dutra10 ай бұрын
It would remove a lot of the stealth aspect of my setup! I have a foldable solar panel with me that I can set up on a sunny day out in nature :)

How much are you spend on petrol to month? good videos,i like much.
@julia_dutra9 ай бұрын
So far, I've spent a total of ~$225 per month! Some things to keep in mind: I've been traveling slow (doing a big drive once, maybe twice a week). My minivan gets ~23 miles per gallon. And I've been traveling in states where gas is cheaper (anywhere from $2.30-3.20 per gallon). This will definitely change as I continue on with van life haha.
