I only cut my hair that way for years. Except I pulled the hair together like a pony tail, bent forward and cut across the top of the "triangle". Never thought of it as a mullet...lol... But it makes fantastic layers and trims the dead ends. Always got compliments on my hair. My profile pic explains the past tense. 😁

I used to feel that way. You'd be amazed at what working on feeling good and loving yourself can do. I lost 100 lbs at an age and physical situation deemed impossible for that kind of result and it was because I ate more of the right food for me and stopped listening to people who might tell me things like I'm too clumsy to dance. I resorted to this and it was surprisingly not bad. The key was to make a high, top of the head pony and keep everything smooth and even. The different lengths sort themselves out and you end up with gradually sloping sides that blend naturally with the longer back.

I want my hair cut short but I've got naturally curly hair and my mom has never let me cut it in any way shape or form. The only time over gotten it cut is to my shoulder blades and to my Collar bones. I want an undercut but not sure how it will look. But I want it cut shorter than to my shoulders, but enough to where it will look short, be easy to wash, brush, and style without breaking my hairbrush’s pins.
