He might've checked if the sink was an actual sink with a drain or just a set piece, then he frantically searched for a solution until I assume he found a bin around the corner.

Ollie was looking for a rubbish bin, out of politeness, I assume. I wouldn't want to spit into someone's kitchen sink, unless there was absolutely no choice I'd rather spit into the bin. There is definitely a kitchen sink, and he opened the cupboard under it first, because he expected the bin to be there. He opened the dishwasher, because he was frantic and that is a "completely hidden behind a normal looking cupboard door" type of dishwasher, or so it looks to me. As soon as he sees it's a dishwasher he moves to open the cupboard doors to his right, that he has not yet tried, still desperately looking for the bin. At some point the camera focuses on Josh and we don't see Olly anymore until he has found, or been told where the bin is, and promptly spits out whatever that was. Josh on the other hand had no such compunctions, as soon as he saw the sink he spat it out onto it. (It's raining over here, and I clearly have too much time on my hands right now!)

Hey! I was curious too as I'm from Canada so I looked into it! No Name was created in 1978 by Loblaws while No Brand was created in 2015 by EMart (which was established in 1993). Different companies but suspiciously resembles No Name too much - could of use a color other than yellow HAHA

Fun fact for Malaysians: the "No Brand" brand of potato chips in Korea is actually made by Mamee in Malaysia, so it's basically the same thing as Mister Potato and tastes the same too when I tried it a few years back. You can just eat Mister Potato's sweet potato chips if you want to try the ones Josh and Ollie had.
