Good race,if you don't mind a tip,a friend of mine holds 3 records here, he told me to ltft just the slightest earlier on the top half,it worked wonders for me

If you wish to learn the track properly and what lines to take theres a number of vids on youtube of bathurst races. Could easily knock another .4 or so seconds of your lap times. As for the holden you where driving thats the tune on it making it so hard to drive. The guy who made the tune probably uses a wheel

The tune is made for a wheel, but it also might be its low downforce setup. The brake bias might be a bit too forward for controller, noticing the lockups. My ethos is, the mountain course stays a gamble, with or without dforce, so might as well gain as much on the straights. It hits 296 kph downhill and 253 uphill. So far im at a 2:04.2, but an 03 is possible, when the moons align.

I do. I didn't mind the Ford tune I used in the other video, but this one was so loose I felt like I had trouble driving in a straight line sometimes. If you want to try to make one I'd give it a go.

I can’t tell between the ford and Holden which I like better haven’t tried the Altima, spent much more time in the ford and gears are aggressive you can drop it into first on the first and last corner including the Ss, where as the Holden 1st isn’t useable, however coming up the hill getting to the back Ss right around the 50-53 second mark I can hold it flat out in the Holden where in the ford i can almost get full throttle just not quite there, however after going back and forth for about 2 hours doing 5 lap segments each I was still faster in the ford each time (still more practice in that car) but the Holden feels like a dream to drive. Than took the cup car for shits and giggles and first lap obliterated the super car v8 time 😂big boy didn’t look like there was enough road for it by itself imagine a cup race here turn 3,4,5 area would be an absolute mess on restarts 😅

Also I’m on wheel, however I got a 2:09:01 last night, today I couldn’t break a 2:11:3 idk if track conditions play into affect however the only thing that did change was I accidentally left normal steering instead of simulation since I’m on a wheel. Which come to think of it I wonder if I’m faster with normal on or just coincidence.

Grimm is faster on normal steering than simulation steering, so you might be on to something with that.
