Because in India Italian flavours are more valued then Indian 😂but also pasta is a expensive dish it includes Olives cheese jalapenos etc and everywhere it's expensive (talking about good places) but the chur chur naan thali is very cheap everywhere so 190 is expensive for a thali.

Guys we need to overcome this misconception that Indian food should always be cheaper than foreign food. He literally bought that pasta for 200+ and it was worth it, but a plate full of paneer, 2 naans, loaded with dry fruits and butter for only Rs 190 was overpriced/expensive for him. Like, Come on??

Because Chur Chur naan and a lot of naans in Delhi are much much cheaper. It was never an expensive dish in general at least locally. Pasta however generally starts at that price point.

I agree. people will say Chai with milk and masala in it for 15 Rs is expensive but boiled water with coffee powder for 200 Rs. is cheap. And that pasta looked really bad. There is some fascination with todays youth with Mayonnaise and fake cheese. There is no mayo in a pasta dish and barely any cheese. Unless its made for a 3 year old in Mac & cheese. And Actually Mayonnaise is not used to make any western dish, its a dressing on a hamburger.

If you like billu’s hut pasta then I think you need to try other pastas as well bcz this pasta contains only different types of Mayo and no authentic sauce. There are so many places that serve really amazing pastas. Keep it up!

From Dahi ke sholey outlet, you should have tried Afghani sholey. It's the pro version of dahi ke sholey as it's stuffed with paneer and few dry fruit. Also, the prices are increase by Rs10 now :)

I can pay even 300 for a thali but the taste and the quantity should be worth it, but it isn’t at raju naan. Whereas the 210 pasta totally justifies its taste and the pasta serving is very much appetising for 1 person and i am eating from billu’s since 2017 when they had a small shop in nsp. At that time too there was so much crowd at billu’s.

Agree with ur opinion on most of the things but i guess khan chacha's roll r hyped because of elite class because as i many people knw khan market is the most elite market of delhi( pricewise) so they charges according to the location ! All though they r average in taste.....thats the problem with delhi that only locals knw about the hidden gems after roaming around different states i can definitely say delhi food is unmatched infact competition p nh hai kisi se but only for locals as outsiders bichare in overhyped places pe kha ke chale jaate hai !!
