Oh-HOHOHOHO, this is gonna be good. XD *makes imaginary popcorn & settles in * EDIT: Now that I've finished watching, I have to say - please don't feel self-conscious about the lengthy take. Not only 'tis the season for binging extra-long videos, but I myself am slower than a glacier with makeup application. Tree growth rings accrue faster than me, LOL. I'm a neurotic perfectionist, and being unable to wear my glasses while doing it literally leaves me flying blind, which makes me take even more time. A 40-45 minute session is the best I've managed, but it can take me over 2 hours, and that's not even doing anything highly technical!

XD (And I'm unable to wear contacts because I'm too squeamish to apply them.) I have a magnifying mirror now, though, so I'm going to see if that helps me sit a bit further back.

Hi Mandy, You did a great job! This is a beautiful look. I do have that eyeshadow palette you’re using. I just received it and have not had a chance to use it yet. We are all bored at my house. We live in Central Illinois. Last week we had temps in the 80’s. Now we’re in the 50-60 range. It was so nice to hang outside and let our dogs run around. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who takes a while with doing their makeup! When I get this palette in, I feel like I can actually do a Real time GRW you and not have to keep stopping and rewinding the footage. I'll likely have my kids busting in too! Coincidentally, my 5 year old daughter has also been pretending to be a kitty lately. I'm impressed you were able to get her back upstairs as fast as you did. I'd never be so lucky in my house. If her eyes are open, she's attached to me like a barnacle! I really enjoyed the video. Zabrena is another youtuber whom I've seen do this type of unedited real-time video. As someone who is still really building solid makeup skills (especially with the eyes), I find these to be incredibly helpful. Thank you for stretching outside your comfort zone and filming this. I so admire your courage in doing a video without editing. You lucky girl 🙌🏼 those are some of my favorite brushes 😍 (along with my Wayne Goss). They are some fabulous natural haired brushes and they make such a difference with blending and application 👍🏼 The Rephr 1 eye brush is such a great one, and I’ve wanted to grab their pencil brush too. I’m also looking for my perfect bronzer brush so you’re not alone in that quest. I think the Rephr brush you used did a really nice job and smaller face brushes have their advantages I think I’ve ordered this eyeshadow palette (along with the new mini blush) but it hasn’t arrived yet and I’m so excited for it to come 🧡 Your eye look came out beautifully by the way! I’m glad you mentioned this foundation felt oily to you. I’ve been using it for a while, mixing it with foundations that are too dark for me, and during the hot summer in Texas my makeup would always rub off on my sunglasses. Love the video. I am new here and did watch the whole video. I agree, I also can't justify expensive brow products. I use up brow products very quickly and can't justify the higher price point specially when there are so many good ones in the drugstore that are equally good. Also for retinol start as low as possible and the concentration depends on the type of retinoids/retinol you use. The Ordinary granactive retinoid 2% or 5% is good for beginners. If you are starting with retinol start with 0.1 - 0.2% at best and for beginners one can put retinol as the last step after moisturizer.

It's always so fun to see the "backdoor" of filming, especially now that I started filming myself a few months ago. I am only 11 minutes in and already loving this... and you are still very funny and you don't use "like" all that often... I know I sure do!!!! And I also have considered Retin A or whatever it's called. I think you and I are exactly the same age. I know you are a fellow Cancer so we are at most a few weeks apart ... and boy, have I noticed my skin getting older recently. It's like a light switch went on and suddenly ALL I see is dull, saggy skin, tons of wrinkles and just no more "youth" in my face. I have to be honest - it's been really bothering me lately, so if you do try new products, I would love updates - either the ones that work, or those that don't. And lady... I touch my face all the time, so I don't even bother editing that out - I would have NO video left ;) ;) ;) . I was hearing from my piano students all day today, that NYC just announced that school is cancelled for the rest of the school year.... so no school until September. I can already feel everyone getting SO stir crazy!

Natalia Lavrova I’m a cancer too..40 and from NJ. I’m an English teacher and I’m sure NJ will follow suit with school closing for the year. So crazy. I started using Retin-A about 6 months ago. I HIGHLY recommend Cureology. It’s like $25 a month ...or maybe $40 every two (my subscription) and a dermatologist creates a formula, with Retin-A just for you based on your age, health, meds, and the pictures you submit. Happy Easter Mandy 🐣 I’m trying very hard not to buy makeup right now, but that eyeshadow palette is on my list when I can. 😍 I bought the Rephr brushes during the Kickstarter campaign. I really like them but the 05 brush shed pretty bad. I don’t use the 04 brush. I’m the same with bronzer brushes - I have a list but can’t decide which one I want. The Rephr one looks really good and I’m also interested in the BK Beauty bronzer brush...and the Sonia G face brush with the blue handle. 😬 Penn Smith Skincare and Elle Leary are great resources for skincare suggestions. Penny is very knowledgeable when it comes to pigmentation. 🥰

Loved this!! 👏 Since my Ulta brow pencil suggestion worked out, I’m going to throw out my next brow suggestion: tint them! I just did mine last weekend and I’m amazed at the difference. Particularly with your lighter brows, if might be the product you’re looking for to make your brows “what they can be.” I used the $20 Godefroy one from Amazon in medium brown and it’s going to last a year at least. Highly recommend! If you’re feeling brave, you could film a video on the process. 😊

BTW, I used a different mascara for lower lashes -Pixi Lower Lash Mascara- and even I am run of it, I still use the wand dipped in whatever mascara I am using, since it is thin and easier to use. I actually enjoy the longer video! I've had to learn to master talking and doing makeup at the same time; as soon as I pull out my makeup kit, that's when my husband decides he wants to talk about something (usually something that doesn't really matter). I do my makeup in the living room before work and since he's always up early it's impossible to avoid LOL. That palette is very pretty.

Great video! I am impressed that your son ran a half marathon; my son (football) can’t run much at all, too big. He is a little introverted so the stay at home hasn’t been as he’d for him as I expected. The ND palette is on my list for after my no-buy- curious to see if it survives on the list.
