In this video I try the brand new PS5 DualSense Edge Controller by Sony in Fortnite! This is a $200 pro controller model of the normal ps5 dualsense controller and it comes PACKED with features. I spend the first couple minutes of the video showing off all of the features, then head into some games played on my PS5 to showcase the features and advantages of this controller. By the end I share my thoughts on if the controller is worth it or not. Enjoy!

Thank you for stating it's reasonable price. It should be expected Sony would add a couple bucks on top of what an expected price should be but with all these features such as removable sticks, triggers, lockable cable, they really took the consideration of what problems can be found with controllers and fixed them. Yes they could've done hall effect analog sticks but that'd mean there would probably be less controllers and money being made so removable sticks for that low price is quite good. Lockable cable probably one of my favorite things especially with how ps4 controller ports used to get super loose this was a great fix to that problem occurring in the future

Please answer me. I play claw and i wonder, can i use the back button on this controller with my sweet finger?? Because my right index finger is on the triangle and circle button. So i need to use those paddles to swap weapon which is using sweet finger. Can you reach the paddle with sweet finger?

Yo I have the scuf reflex I’m pretty sure but I’m gonna have to cop this cause stick drift is an annoying issue and I’m scared to use my scuf just in case it gets the same issue but with this new controller I can send my scuf controller back to them to fix it and still have another one that I can use in the meantime

my reflex's audio jack broke after 3 months of use. Shitty customer service too just to get a refund. The edge feels so much better -- japanese quality is superior IMO

Can't disagree. I have a 350 euro AimController and the dual Sense looks and feels more premium. Will probably last longer too. Has nice function buttons to do extra stuff with and great compatibility like you said. The only downside to some people would be that it only has 2 paddles.

bro the edge paddles are very responsive like the elite but feel even better and they dont stick out or get in the way, i feel its a must cop just because you can change the stick modules, the quality is there, i guess it comes down to wether you need 4 back buttons or not, battle beaver makes great controllers

I have a PS4 Scuf and Battle Beaver and have been playing with the Edge since release and they’re not a patch on the Edge. The quality is the same as a standard Dualsense but with all the extras and the back buttons/paddles are both better than those on the Scuf and BB. My only reservation was that the triggers weren’t digital but I soon forgot about that as you can set their sensitivity in settings and they now activate more quickly than the digital buttons. Considering how much I paid for my stick drift plagued pro controllers previously I would have bought it just for the replaceable stick modules but everything else makes it well worth it. My only massive issue is not being able to use it with the PS App on my iPad Pro for Remote Play but that will come, probably the same time as PC support.

It’s a good controller my only downside with it r the r2 and L2 trigger stoppers, IMO they go down way to far I used to play with a scuf with trigger stoppers and it felt like I was mousing clicking so it was rlly good but with this controller I put it on the shortest setting u can stop it at and it still goes down to far

@@hamburger21 yea I used to use hex gaming controller with paddles and trigger stoppers but honestly they break rlly easily not that great, but the dual Sense edge is rlly good I like it a lot it’s a bit heavy but once u play with it for a couple days u don’t even notice it anymore, my only problem with it is the trigger stoppers so I would give it a 9/10

@@jitpatrolin9369 that's fair. Fortnite is really the only game I'm aware that 4 paddles would be necessary. In games like apex and C.O.D you'd only realistically need 2 for jumping and another important feature (like sliding or holding breath)
