I can't say for over seas, but here in the States, as far as I know, Amazon returns can either be resold of its in working condition, to the landfill or, a popular thing these days are liquidation companies that either have stores that sell nothing but returns or that run websites that sell pallets full of returns.

I have tried a few dust collectors from cheap to the lugx and none have been great. I hope to get a melody susie one soon myself but dont have high hopes for it x

I have a melodie susie dust collector (caveat: this is the only one I've ever had) and it's just okay. I may have a little less dust on my shirt/around my desk than what you showed in your video, but it happens to me too. The major downside to the one I have is how the buttons are. They're really sensitive and even just brushing them can turn the fan off or change the setting. They're the kind of buttons that are flush with the plastic. Also, it only has two speeds. I hope you can find a fan that you're happy with.
