Can someone please tell Matt that he’s absolutely right about the coconut thing. It’s actually a huge supply and demand issue that impacts everything, especially in Barbados where a lot of coconut products are exported. Essentially they are in this vicious cycle of harvesting coconuts too early to meet the demand, but when you harvest them too early they don’t produce as much so they continue to harvest them too early to keep up with the demand.

yes so much to this thread! AND people always forget that to get milk from cows they need to make them constantly pregnant and remove most of the milk supply from calf’s. There’s no ethical consumption anymore 🙃

whenever something says “drink” on the end it’s just the refresher base with coconut milk! you can get refreshers with water, lemonade or coconut milk!

The mango dragonfruit drink Matt was talking about (hot magenta, not blue btw) is my favorite non-coffee drink at Starbucks. I hated the new pineapple passion fruit refresher though even though I love both fruits. It had a disgusting aftertaste to me.

Matt cows milk is not easy to produce 😂 most cows are artificially inseminated over and over again in order to product milk unnaturally and treated horribly until they are deemed useless and killed. Coconuts are everywhere and absolutely fine 🥥🌴🍹

I love you guys and this video but can someone pls educate Matt about the dairy industry! Cows produce milk after they give birth just like humans, but under the hands of humans, they are artificially inseminated and forced to give birth all for their milk (biologically meant for baby cows btw). Simplifying it to cows just make milk all day, minimizes the true suffering of these cows occurring in the industry. I would take the challenges that come with a small almond or oat or even the aforementioned “small” coconut any day over the dairy industry.
