My heart pours out to Brent and PFI. I’ve been here for awhile and that man didn’t deserve what happened to him and his team. He’s ALWAYS smiling. ALWAYS happy. ALWAYS positive..to see him almost come to tears really hits you home. The hatch has come a long way but it needs some more love. No more rushing to get things done or half assing it. You honestly can’t get away with it at that level anymore. Kyle. I really hope you have the means to help that man. Brent. If there was something I could do I would fly out and help for a weekend .. that’s how badly I feel for you. ❤️

Or just spend a weekend actually finishing it. Most everything that happens could be avoided with just a little attention to detail and not much money. Ziptie all Vac lines you install on a boosted car. Use a decent quality oil filter like Wix, never Fram. Use loctite or lock washers on fasteners or at least make sure there tight. Doing what I call a nut and bolt is a very good idea on race cars before a race. Just get under the car and put an impact or wrench on critical bolts or stuff you think may come loose.

FFS Kyle, part of racing is preparation! You've come so far and it's awesome but if you want to get to your goal of 9's you've got to prepare and hit the details. Good luck! I have been talking about you guys and what y'all do at my job and I have like 8 to 10 guys there coming in on a daily telling me they watched one or more of your episodes last night or whatever and they are all different ages. We all love your shit man, you have shown us all we can do things like that on a budget and that it doesnt take tens of thousands of dollars all in one shot, that if you are patient and chip away at your project as time and money permits it will all come together. It also has shown us that it isn't that difficult! We are all transport refrigeration technicians so we work on engines and electrical and stuff which helps but either way we are all extremely happy to have found your guys channels and wish you all the best!! Can't wait to see new content and even Brent's new shop and stuff... Good luck with everything my friend! Gixxer983 that's what happens when your fan base pushes hard to follow your build. You gotta rush to make content. When you rush, you miss things. A lot of KZbinrs run this path and get burned out. Its sad.
@Gixxer9836 жыл бұрын
I dont think rushing anything is the right way to do it in my opinion, but Kyle is a great guy and all of his friends are good people it seems. But for me personally i dont care if he makes a video every day on time or not. I just see it, instead of playing with caster wheels at pfi, i would probably be making sure my bolts are tie wired up, like Kyle said, " i dont know how i lost 2 bolts (somewhere on the street) some biker or a windshield might catch. If the last bolt on one side would have come undone on the highway, the front tire would catch and grab that plate and rip it right off in someones face behind, slicing a biker or cause a massive pileup behind it. That oil spill of a filter coming undone would be a massive red flag in my book. I wouldnt be laughing it off and act surprised why the marshal was pissed off. I love to watch Boosted Boiz, dont get me wrong, hate on me all you want but i think ive made my point. I just dont wanna see anyone get hurt.

Good luck to Brent man I feel so bad about what’s happening man moving from a place that you’ve been in for 10+ years and then having to move... god bless.... Ive never seen that worried face on Brent 2:16 , you always see him smiling and having a good time 👍👍

Not trying to talk trash but you really need to do something with that weight plate. Someone is really going to get hurt if that thing comes off. You got two little brackets holding all that weight hanging off the front of it. I'd hate to see someone get hurt brother
@blindabinda12346 жыл бұрын
Repeat Offender right. I honestly can't believe the thing even stays on there. He should be able to stand on the front of that thing. I'd like to see him try that. Lol

Nicolas Richards don't underestimate KZbin money.. Kyle's making some cash trust me.. probably not enough to buy it him self with out setting him self back yet but enough to help pay for half and I'm sure that's what he's doing.

@boostedboiz, Kyle some advise can give you about going to the track, always do a round check up as you mention, I have never seem you do alignment on your cars, you must tune youe car with the tires you will use on the track, you must double check your tune before running the car at the track and last remember that the grip on the track and how you run the car are way different from the streets. Sincerly from D.R Note: when you know track will be open take the time before you get there to have everything you need in case of brake down.

no bead roll on a boost pipe, losing splitter bolts, FPR hose pushed off, oil filter coming lose... i see a trend . details matter! take them more seriously, fix them before they become a problem and the car will become WAY more reliable. And safer on the street as well.... zip tie & ductape engineering doesn't cut it on a 500++hp racecar.
@mchappyballzcrx32106 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. I try to go through my car the night before the track . plugs and oil change, vacuum leaks.ect. you might not be problem free but you have a better chance .
@dustin92586 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it’s honestly getting frustrating watching his car break every video. He could fix all these small issues in a day or 2 and then wouldn’t have to worry about it.
@sergeantspeed59416 жыл бұрын
I called it on the oil filter like 3 months ago. If I recall his hatch runs over 100 psi. That rubber gasket has to hold that pressure. It is insane to run that high. Blowing filters is really common with high psi. Honestly surprised its only done it once. As far as the rest of the car, hes falling for the typical KZbin pressure, views growing, people pushing for content, hes rushing to keep the channel growth, When you rush you have oversights. He needs to be careful because a lot of KZbin creators get burned out rushing all the time. And the fan base is never satisfied. Kyle just needs to work at a normal pace. But I understand his rush to keep us interested. After all, this is the era of short attention span.

I have had an oil filter oring blow out on the same car 4 times in a row. was some swarf in the oil pressure bypass valve causing it to stick up. if it happens again, check the bypass.
