Thanks mate. the game is feeling great. having said that i havent swung a club in a couple weeks so who knows what its like now haha. i was ill for a week and work has been crazy busy. i fear i will struggle to get out over this winter but of course i will do my best as i bloody love it and any chance i get i will do.

Lewis you so remind me of me! I would go play on my own in freezing weather just for the love of the game and being out there I was so so competitive wanted to get to near as scratch as I could ! I got pretty good had a few rounds in the 70's 75 being my best on a 70 par big course! Haven't been able able to for ages still absolutely love the game ❤ you got that same addiction lol bless you and keep going my friend 👍

@GOLFDAYS Mate, I played really well for a few holes yesterday and then blew up on the par 5 at Woodford. Didn't even finish the hole 😂😂😂, moved onto the 7th and parred that, then blew up on the next hole. So I totally can relate.

I’ve played Ash Valley a few times. Some small greens to hit so a very respectable score given you left a couple of putts in the jaws. Cambridge Meridian well worth trying if you haven’t played that before. Good video, cheers

great job mate despite the crazy freezing conditions which is not helping for distance. BTW at the hole 12 you were wondering about your "poor" first driver shot and then you hit your provisional super nicely....what I noticed is that the first shot you accelerated a lot and lost your tempo, the second shot had the perfect tempo...maybe something to think about as a swing thought for the driver (i had the same problem and solved that way). Hole 13 you did the same "mistake"(not right tempo), same hole 17 ...and great tempo hole 18 !!!!!!....sometimes it's better to lose 10 yards than missing the fairway 😄 Lastly I do like your idea for the next video !! That said great job Lewis, still love your content and MERRY Xmas !!!......sorry for my wordy post 😇🤪

Thanks for watching and the support my friend. i have been guilty in the past of always tinkering with my swing without guidance which always take me down a horrible slope. i have made a promise to myself now to change nothing without my coach changing things. i have been striking the ball better than i have in a very long time so i am trying not to tinker. i appreciate the opinion though mate thanks.

I used to be guilty of the sliding my hips back in my back swing but my coach got it out of me eventually, will probably become a topic in one of your lessons at some point. looking forward to what looks like a dry weekend for golf though. Have a great weekend! :) @@GOLFDAYS

It really is a tough course mate but it has a really low slope rating! I can't believe how low the rating is on this one. I love making it hard for myself 😂

Even though I play at least twice a week all through the year, I never play well in the winter. So many things to work against you. Yes it’s a challenge and we need that but it rocks your confidence a bit. You’d swing is looking good though. Putting on those surfaces is a lottery 🥴. I do feel your pain when those putts do fall. Is that the course where you had the wizard of oz hurricane?😂 I’ve only played on a frosted over course once, on my birthday at Blakes in December 2008, I had so many layers on I looked like the Michelin Man 😁 Your ball striking was good and you did well considering the conditions. 👍👏

haha, i always seem to find the hard conditions haha. just think how well i should play in ideal conditions. This was the course where i hit 100 and had a nightmare before i started my lessons so not the hurricane haha. i want to go back there but they cant fit me in with all there members bookings. thanks mate, did our best

Good question buts sometimes I play with someone who doesn't want to be on camera. Most the time I'm playing with someone I know but sometimes with random who prefer me not to film them

haha absolutely, only one other time i have played in frozen conditions and that was when we did a Christmas special last year haha
