Trying to Craft a PERFECT Claw | Full Gravecraft - PoE 3.24 Necropolis

In today's video I'll be trying to craft a PERFECT claw with the Necropolis gravecrafting mechanic. This method has a very high chance of success, but it isn't completely guaranteed. I really like it post-patch. I'm also specced fully into the mechanic so I can do probably 2-3 big crafts a day without too much trading. It's very fun now that there aren't 500 different tiers of rolls.

Yeah it's pretty painful but it's incredibly powerful. I'm also fully specced into it - don't know if I could do 2-3 crafts a day though but I'm not getting all that much time to play :(

I honestly am so glad that I'm not the one running the craft. The prep, the math, the tedious corpse farming/buying. I think there is a lot of power behind it but the hassle is not worth it to me. Thanks for showcasing it though! Shame about the miss but there's always next time.

I'm with you 100%. This is even worse than setting up a perfect Harvest "power grid" was during the original Harvest League where you had to run wires to each quadrant of each plot. At least with Harvest you only had to set the power stations and wires once. You still had to plant the crops properly, but it was less tedious than this. There's no way this goes "core" in its current form.

I'd love to see a UI, even a really basic stash looking one, allowing you to just drag and drop corpses from your stash etc instead of needing to run around. Just take the graveyard layout and turn that into a stash. Also need to remove the corpse type specific things, too much friction.

Hahaha I love the editing when you're just reading the crafts over and over - the mechanic is super cool, but the entire setup seems pretty taxing. I will probably do it once or twice all league to see if I can hit something cool like +2 amulets or +2 sceptres, then just sell all my corpses.

I'm 99% sure that going full blast like this doesn't actually do much for your odds of getting what u want Past getting enough mod tier and a handful of increases/reductions to chances you're gonna be looking at like +0.0001% chance to hit with every corpse Edit: I'm pretty sure you'd be better off cutting out half the graveyard and just doing 2 crafts Edit2: Craft of Exile puts your chance to hit at 16%

if your going for specifically high tier mods then doing a full graveyard is basically the only way to do it, the actual craft is like 50-60 corpses but then the bottom left section for the additional crafts make it more likely that you profit / get what you actually are trying to craft (because if you spend 4-10 div on getting a couple extra all t1 item even if its not perfect it covers your craft cost)

@@t0mbr1d the additional craft corpses cost 10x more than most other corpses and only give 20% chance to craft another, so it only makes sense with over 50 corpses used But the thing is, going from 40 corpses to 80 will almost never double your chances to hit: the most important corpses are the mod tier corpses and you never need more than 24 of them

Just so everyone knows it's free and it's easy to farm all the corpses yourself if you spec into it. Made a mirror tier item 3rd try in ssf doing same recipe for despot axe. I see no problem here, but corpses are anoying to store and it's way too limited. Only 64 slots in storage makes no sense. I'd prefer old harvest crafting than this but this is fun too. But it's too easy and too free to get perfect tier 1 rolled items. Its insane, league will end in a week at this point. There's nothing else to get.

It feels like crafting 6 mod item is to risky even if you put the most things you can into it. Ever considered crafting 4 or 5 mod itens instead? There is a corpse that increases likelyhood of prefixes/suffixes that might be the thing. Rolling 6 mods makes it very likely for you to hit things you don't want even if they have a low %. Also, the rolling multiple times might be a bait when you already have to much. The 'better mod outcome' selection is something you don't have control over and none of us know what it actually selects for. There have been many times I bricked a craft on Rog by him rolling a 'best outcome' that was compretely useless.

Youre complaining about the system while ignoring how many steps and different things you have to do when doing regular crafting, this is just get the corpses put them in hit the button you get item, way less annoying than all the steps required if you were to craft this with the normal crafting system.

Last Epoch has such a great crafting system compared to PoE. Overall, PoE is still a superior game by a country mile, especially endgame, but at least in crafting LE outshines it.

Theres 2 takes to your comment, i agree last epoch makes it so much simpler to understand and there is still a lot to it, and to the vast majority of people that alone makes it great, but if you get over how complicated the poe crafting system is and learn it all, there is no contest there, path of exile lets you do so much more in regards to your items its not even close, but the problem is the vast majority of people get scared away and never get to the point of getting into it, which the last epoch system doesnt suffer as much from. In terms of being easy to understand last epoch wins by a mile, but in terms of how much you can do with your items and to what extent you can customise them path of exile crafting has no competition.@@MrVvulf
