Some helpful tips when being chased: Running keeps him aware of where you are. If you manage to get out of his direct line of sight, it might be smarter to slow down and crouch behind something or make your way to a door. You can hide behind things like tables and desks by crouching, so long as he isn't on the same side as you. You can also hide behind the support columns on each floor. Just quietly move around them if you need to. These kinds of hiding spots aren't marked.

Also using your flashlight behind things doesn't alert any of them. Even places in the kitchen behind the table and counter. Or even behind his desk. Helps see up ahead before moving. I beat this game game four times, and even though I know what to do, i know how short it is, i know how to manipulate the people; or fool around throwing things at them or holding the door while they're banging trying to get in, I still love this game and continue to play it. Love the music and the songs. Love the music that plays when they spot you.

Also their music that plays when they're close is a easy cue they are near by. Always listen to this. When it's calmer/ish/ low, they are a bit away from you on the same floor. No music of theirs means they are underneath you. Still haven't understand the theme for each character in the game. These are my guesses.

The movie poster for Scears is a reference to the game Clock Tower, which not only gave the inspiration for Remothered, but in early development it was supposed to be a fan remake/reboot of the original Clock Tower for super nintendo. Also fun fact early concept for Remothered was that Madam Svenska was originally supposed to be the main antagonist of this game but got changed to the role she has now
