Trying to Explain the New Let There Be Carnage Marvel Legends Price Tag

Honestly $40 is extremely generous. Many collector youtubers said he would be 50 or 60 due to his size, sculpt and accessory bundle. Ill try to do some calculations. Superior spiderman is $30 and has an equal amount of accessories but hes much shorter and more painted than sculpted. Carnage tjough is an all new mold with all new parts, bendy wire tentacles and two sets of hands. Not to mention his pattern is sculpted and not painted all through his body. Hes also a whopping 8 1/2 inches, meaning hes just a bit shorter than the king in black venom. So the extra $10 comes from the new molds, sculpt work and size. This is an absolute beast of a figure and hasbro is pretty much selling it as a regular deluxe when really its more an exclusive deluxe. This guy is a HUGE apology from Hasbro for the Warbird controversy that just recently happened. I guarantee you this Carnage was going to be $50 and a hasbropulse exclusive but they backpeddled and lowered the price to get customer faith back. Honestly, if you dont have a carnage in your collection, this is the one to get. I get hes not perfectly comic accurate but my god you can see the love put into the figure

“Generous” is a strong word at least for me. Last I checked “deluxe” figures go for about 35 - 40 anyways. I also don’t feel I should have to pay extra for a new body mold. I am 100% sure they will reuse this exact body mold later down the line so it’s not like they’re doing us any big favor. The figure is somewhat adequately priced but that’s just my personal opinion.

@@Jasonzxzx generous is a bit extreme but it’s definitely a fair price. Doc Ock is the same price and not nearly as big. Whether or not it’s fair to pay for the new molding I highly doubt it will be reused. I genuinely can’t think of how or where this mold could be reused. It seems really fair to me.

I feel like you guys are driking the stupid juice. Am I the only ones who’s seeing the price of Marvel legends skyrocket? I think for bucks is a pretty perfect Price for that figure, and I stopped collecting I do guitar now😆.

@@JasonzxzxCarnage is tall, sculpted like crazy, and has 4 bendy wire tentacles with 4 hands and 2 heads. He towers above every venom figure out right now and with the way prices have been recently? This is literally ridiculously generous

We had big figures like Thanos for $25 just a few years ago. But if people think that a 60% increase is worth it, then so be it.

That’s a great idea. They did something similar with the No Way Home figures. They released a regular wave with unmasked heads and a wave with no extra heads.

The movie did really well actually lmao. It grossed $506 million, and was the 7th highest grossing movie of 2021. And no not everyone that went to watch it hated it. Me and my friends quite enjoyed it and it has an 84% audience rating on rottentomatoes. So there's plenty of reason this figure is gonna be in high demand with fans.

Not to sound confrontational but you’re leaving some key information out of your statement. 506 mil, for example, is incredibly low for a superhero movie. It probably doesn’t even rank top 30. You also left out that the critics rating which is under 60%. As far as the demand for the figure that may be true but as of the moment of this comment there have been no retail sites selling out of preorders. Like I said it’s a matter of personal opinion, the figure is solid in my opinion but nothing that spectacular.

Hasbro is F2cking it up...for too long now. This 40.00....NOPE it wont sell out and will become another peg warmer. Now we get a remake HulkBuster and they want 60.00...not gonna sell out and also to become another peg warmer. Greed...in the end its gonna kill them.
