In regards to the house walk through. It’s made by Japanese artist PiroPito. And you probably aren’t seeing a demon, yokai, or spirit in the corner of your vision. The story seems fairly obvious if you are paying attention. “There is a TYPHOON in Japan” Define “Typhoon”: A tropical storm in the region of the Indian or west pacific oceans. The narrator references that the wind woke them up. They go through this home, which looks like it has been hit by a terrible disaster, and been left to rot. And as they go, it gets worse. More distorted, with each repeat, eventually they come to a room, and say “Grandmother is here” showing a strange rendition of what seems to be a person. The repeat this for “grandfather” who is in the bath. The narrator eventually returns to their room. It seems fairly clear to me, and most people who have seen it. In August 2016, a Typhoon hit Japan. Typhoon Mindulle. The video was posted in October, 2016. Another interesting fact, Typhoon Mindulle had 3, Three, casualties. There are three characters in this art piece by PiroPito. And that is likely no coincidence. This house tour is purgatory. A spirit walking through their home after the storm, where they and their family died. After the have shown us their home, the place they lived, the place they cherished, they return to their bed, and go to sleep, one final time.

In Japanese horror their is a storytelling theme/game known as kaidan. It's an old game from the Edo period where groups would tell horror stories to each other, surrounded by candles or lanterns (up to 100 of them) and after each tale was finished the storyteller or an attendant would extinguish one light source. As the night goes it gets darker and darker and it evolved into a tradition of telling the same story or series of events making them darker and more gruesome with each telling. Several J-horror games play on this concept and it's popped up in a few J-horror movies too. I think that's what the last story was playing on with the repetitive lines and actions.
@neonicon85002 жыл бұрын
Nice so it's like telling the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, but each time you tell it, the more horrific things become? Like the wolf ends up eating the grandma in one, and then by the end he ends up eating everyone but then aliens invade and end up killing the wolf ? Lol that's dope. You can tell more than just that one story though right?

I’m always delighted to give more behind the scenes information about the house tour video. In my opinion it’s one of the most effective and chilling horror media/art pieces I’ve ever seen. I digress though. The creator (who by the way is the same creator of the viral creepypasta video “username666”) actually destroyed an entire space to make it. The house is not as big as the video makes it out to be, with the sliding door used as transitions to make a loop each time the creator walks through the space. Between each filmed loop, the creator further destroyed and “haunted” the space, making for an arduous filming journey and art project. It is truly one of the most unsettling videos I have ever seen and I’m delighted that Wendigoon chose to show it off

People always take it wrong when I say I wasn't scared, so when I say this don't take it wrong. I loved the video, the graphics so to speak were so interesting, I love the little story it has and the big room for imagination it gives, the "bodies" are freaky as well, and it's just crazy well made as well. Sadly I was getting anxious at first, then by like the middle I got used to it and even comfortable. As I said this is because of me, I am a bit specific when it comes to what scares me, (repeating noises and distorted faces) somewhat "immune" to the rest, and yet this one still made my heart speed up a bit, it was that good, wish I could be like those people that scream whenever they see nuke top 5 again, it'd be so much fun. Also, I wonder how it would look if made into a pt type game.

That last video makes me think that the protag died during the typhoon, and their house tour is also them slowly descending into Yomi (Japanese underworld) to join his grandparents (who also seem to have died during the storm, or perhaps at unrelated points in the past; if the latter's the case, then it appears that the grandmother died first in her sleep - which would explain why the grandfather closed off the rooms that she likely frequented - and then the grandfather died in the bath, possibly from a bad fall, going off of how his arms are sprawled out like he was trying to catch himself).
@ReverieOfThorns2 жыл бұрын
It's based on a real typhoon in Japan in August of 2016. That typhoon only had 3 casualties and so everyone in that house are the casualties of the typhoon. You're right I think about it being the descent into the Japanese underworld

Bro. "Raycon. Iron Throne. Heavy Rain. JASON" is the hottest bar I've heard all year. Phenomenal.

Oh NO NO the one with the dog and the basement door legitimately gave me a physical reaction. I swear man even last year Wendigoon picked videos that just shook me to my core.

Watching this at night right before bed, as a 20 year old man might not be a good idea. #mosteffortiveseeninads

The one of the person running next to the car gave me literal goosebumps, that’s like one of my biggest irrational fears

Man that first video with the tent would've been so scary if it was just the first bit, as soon as he went outside and the naked slenderman whatever showed up it lost all tension Going camping and then hearing a human outside in the middle of the night is a terrifying scenario

2:52 I live in Bend, Oregon and just down the road from the weigh station where this incident supposedly happened. I'm sure it's fake, but always considering going out there to snoop around.

I’d pay good money for a series where Wenigoon and MistaGG watch scary videos with each other and discuss them

15:05 they have uncovered glass all over everywhere at state park cabins here. we have to bring duct tape and sheets whenever we go there lol it's not just like, a personal problem lol. one time my parents went to one of the parks in the winter when no one else was there and two scary people looked in the window and knocked on the door. no phone service or anything there
