As someone trying to get a sealed collection going the resellers are out of control.. my game stop employee said people will take out new credit cards just to max out and clear out places that don’t limit supply. I’ve seen ETBs for Surging just ripped open on shelves, it’s sad man.

That's wild honestly but I can believe it sadly. I try hard to stick to a budget but the prices are nuts. My local Walmart was all about that. I used to go looking for stuff and would find stuff spread all over the shelves, missing packs, ripped boxes, etc... absolutely insane and just makes me shake my head. Also, speaking of Surging Sparks, local Walmart was selling em for almost $100 CAD....I was floored..

@ our game stop in the states was selling ETBs of Obsidian for $25! Luckily for my wallet they were all out lol. On a related note keep up the vids! I really love the chill more mature energy you bring to the community

Tragically, none of the costcos near me seem to ever have these! Personally have had some solid luck at gamestop though - some of them happen to have surging sparks a little early 👍

Haha, so it's funny cause I usually end up these since it's next to the gym I go to and the missus likes to ask for 'quick' drop in's so I check when I go in haha. But yea, I find the website is never accurate for the warehouses.

Haha, I appreciate that. Eventually everything gets organized, anything for the collections get bindered and the bulk gets stored until I figure out what to do. So, if there are things you're looking for that I might have, let me know and I'll see what I can accommodate :)

@ cards like boss’s orders, arven, and iono we can never have enough of lol. I like to have a bunch of decks built at once and these cards are staples in every deck that I never seem to have enough of 🥲

So I'm new to pokemon I've got a few questions. If you are actually playing the game irl can you mix and match the different sets? Or are you supposed to keep it separated? Also where is the best place to get binders?

Welcome to the hobby :) You can definitely mix and match sets but there are certain rules about which sets/cards you can and can't use. Maybe I'll do a video soon about how to play the game, build a deck, etc... For binders, it depend on what you wanna do. It can be as easy as grabbing a 3ring binder from any store and putting card sleeve pages in it or buying a specific card binder from companies like ValutX, UltraPro, etc... Most of what I buy is online but every so often my local card shops have the binders I like Hope that helps :)

I do some TCGOnline, yes. Haven't been playing much recently but I'll post my friend code in the channel description of you ever wanna play :) I'd love to play IRL but I don't as much time as I'd like to get out to trade/game nights.
