you know the food is good when Wah goes "mmMMM HHHMMM!" love your weight gain journals! I just wanna remind you not to be too harsh on yourself. and it's not that you're "not doing enough". please be kind to yourself and so that you continue having a healthy and happy association with food! sometimes, our bodies will do the opposite that we want, and even then, there are things that are out of our control with our metabolisms and body types. I hope you're kind to yourself and find moments to where eating feels only joyous for you.

Yeet hay = heaty/heatiness in your body Maybe try taking 3 main meals and 2 snacks a day to increase your food and protein intake! That was what I did along with weight training and I gained 10kg across 8 months!
@MoWrekk7 ай бұрын
Track your calories. Make sure u are in a Caloric surplus daily. Incorporate heavy compound movements into your weekly workouts (if you haven’t already). Also, doesn’t hurt to get a physical and get your thyroid levels checked out. You’ll just get burnt trying to eat “a lot”. It’s a marathon, so it’ll take time. 🤞🏾 good luck.

Yeet hay is literally "hot air" but its hard to describe in english. Its that feeling when you ate something really oily or fried and feel gross after, you might get canker sores in your mouth or develop a sore throat or acne.

I used to be very skinny in my 20’s (and I also hated this!), but in my late 30’s, the weight starts comes in. In fact, I have to start watching what I eat now (lol) so, I wouldn’t stress out about this too much. Metabolism tends to slow down with age. Just enjoy life by being as healthy and mobile for as long you guys can :)

Wah, my husband and I have our trees knocked out from a tornado about a month ago. So our back yard has no shade at all during the day time. I really like your setup. I was wondering if you can tell me what kind of material was used and does the pots hold the leg poles? I would also like to add a canopy also to provide more shade.

Yeet Hay is similar to balancing the four humours. "The trick for the Renaissance cook lay in balancing a person’s excess humor with its dietary opposite. So serving parsley to someone with an overabundance of phlegm, for example, would be conducive to good health, but giving it to a choleric person would only sharpen his temperament."

The food looks amazing! Honestly, your metabolism might be really healthy and that’s why you aren’t gaining weight. However, pro tip would be to start working out to gain some muscle weight. Eating a lot can make you gain unhealthy weight but working out can help you gain muscle weight and by doing it your body will start demanding more food on its own because you are burning more energy calories
@priscillalalalah7 ай бұрын
As long as you feel good and you're healthy, that's all that matters. Everyone has different builds and metabolism. If anything, consistent heavy weight training is a good way to gain 'healthy weight' and it's also great for your joints, mental health etc. and paired with lots of protein in particular red meat, which is more bioavailable and nutrient dense.

Just eating and how much you move around all day isn’t going to be enough. Technically what you eat is pretty clean. But stack more protein. Snacks and lots of water.

You guys are super active so I'd say add cottage cheese/grab some lactose free milk with more protein. Sneaking in that protein wherever you can helps a ton at home. Even for sauces just blend some into it. My body resting needs 100g+ protein a day so you may need more! You're doing amazing xo

Haha speaking of 'yeet hey' 😅 when I explained this to my non-chinese partner years ago, I used literal translation 🤣 I said my body was full of 'hot air' & that I needed to drink 'cool tea' haha now he knows when I say these terms but so funny to begin with! I'm still not sure what the English word for it is 🤭

Food looks DELICIOUS but have to agree it won't give you any weight gains at all imho. Increasing the calorie intake pre-workout might do wonders for heavy lifting sessions. High protein intake afterwards. Also, naps & 8 hrs of sleep can do wonders for that GHG👌 Regardless what others say, follow your heart. This is YOUR self -discovery journey after all 👍

I've always explained "yeet hay" in English as inflammation. Like your body is internally "hot" and needing more "cool" food to balance it out. But I feel like that still doesn't explain yeet hay the same 🤷🏻♀️
