Yeah it is intriguing how our animals all of a sudden are not afraid of us at all, and want to socialize, when we have food in our hands. The place is looking great.

Our peppers are long gone. We are in SW Wisconsin, and it's been freezing every night for at least a week and a half now. We are in the 'prep for winter' stage here. Getting things out of the way of the plow paths, putting things away so they don't freeze to the ground till spring, etc.We are down to two horses as far as animals go but they are a handful!

Greenhouse, next project.!!! To protect the plants in the garden you can try put shades colths. Fall is here truly beautiful. The frost are just sad, but the sleepy winter's weather slow you down to enjoy the moment.

G'day, we call them (Bell Peppers) Capsicums in Aus. My Uncle Ern/Aunt Edna had a duck farm near Melbourne, as a kid I always hated the smell of duck poo, he had a couple of thousand. The land is all covered with houses now, must have been worth a fortune for his son John. Congrats on reaching 20K subs. Garry Cuttriss

Fall scenery up north, beautiful! I was going to ask about the Ducks however I see someone already has, so they're all just quacking now huh? Good job on lighting up the barn, that that helps you out a lot. Hope Rebecca like the present you left for her good thing you gave her a heads up. Thanks again for sharing Evan.

The peppers were still there when I got home. So I helped Rebekah slice them all up, so we could freeze them. It took us 1.5 hours to process them all. That was a lot of peppers.

Hi Evan. I have been meaning to ask how the newer ducks finally settled in. They were somewhat pushy when they first arrived. You have mastered the garden. Your peppers are beautiful. HUGE! I bet they are so sweet, perfect, Just in time for Thanksgiving stuffing. Hi to Rebekah.

Yup . Work is not done when you get home from work . LOL This weekend clocks go back 1 hour . It'll be dark when you get home from work pretty soon . Love the chickens . Plenty of eggs and the meat birds are good to eat . Never was too crazy about goats for some reason . I'd rather have a few dogs than goats like a Lab and a Shepherd .

Lol... I've only cracked one egg in my pants pocket, my husband only once too, in the 6 yrs. we've kept chickens. That's all it takes to learn not to put eggs in your pocket. 😏 We also have that ONE chicken! I call her Blackie, she's an Australorp. She perches on top of the coop at bed time. At least she's easy to catch and put in the coop.😉

Hey, Evan, could you set up a pump into the pond and use that water to water the grass & the garden areas to help on your water bill? Is there a restriction on using the pond water within your town? Please reply.

Yes I can use the pond for irrigation and I hope to in the future.

On that subject, dont ever let the local govt assume that authority. The water is yours and Gods, to use however you need. When we start asking our goverments if we can use what we own, its tyranny.
