I feel it's mostly the new fans. It's great he's gaining more viewers, but it's at the cost of the quality of his chat. (Umms, this is le cool gatekeeping since it's me doing it)

jawsh talking abt his health is pretty relatable cuz esp during covid and partly through highschool/college I went through the same thing where all I would do would be to sit inside, do school work/write papers and then be sedentary. what helped me was organized sports, getting out of the house consistently to do a fun sport that i loved got me out of that slump (even though I was incredibly unfit getting back into the sport) so finding ways you enjoy to get fit helps a lot. lifting weights or going to the gym can work, but only if you actually enjoy going there. I could play hockey for hours on end and never get bored, but tell me to do 15 bicep curls or 20 mins on a treadmill and I get bored instantly. Also finding food substitutes helps with eating unhealthy (I had a bad relationship with chips, so instead I would eat popcorn or sunflower seeds and eventually weened off chips, cooking yourself or planning meals helps too.) i hope he can find ways he enjoys to meet his own goals (and not just lose weight because I remained mostly the same weight, but my body composition changed and i felt much better even if the number was the same) because i think its something a lot of people go through and not many talk about especially when managing yourself or while going through stressful periods like school. most people just saying "go to gym" doesnt help either because there is so much more to fitness (and wellness) than that

i think it's very funny to look back on jawsh and his community expressing their vitriolic hatred for another creator's humor because, for all intents and purposes, it's ironic. they deem anything not fitting into jawsh' exact humor demonic and i enjoy watching the universe punishing them for their hubris

The difference between chat making the mic joke and Jawsh making the mic joke is context. The only context between Jawsh and chat is "Streamer and Viewer", while the context between Jawsh and Meowriza is two people actually having a conversation, and Jawsh threw it. He didn't understand the social cue. This is why people think he has autism.
